I rang customer service to query something on my house insurance policy. I was answered swiftly by someone in the UK, who could answer me. She also renewed the policy over the phone and I received an email confirmation with all the documents a few minutes later. Not the cheapest but better to pay more and have good customer service.

I signed up for a premium program for ONE year and i payed for that only one year. They then charged me for this year with no confirmation or any notice to me and took my £300 from my account with no notice. I noticed this unusual transaction and called them regarding this issue. i tried explaining the faults and they offered ONLY 10% of my original amount which is already gone from my account. They then offered again only £30 to me from £300 which is disgusting. I never confirmed or agreed to this new payout of this year. i tried to explain to them that i wanted my full refund, i never agreed for them to take the money from my account and they CUT the line on me without any help. Do not use this insurance it is a scam!! they are merchants.

Axa Home Emergency Cover purchased through Direct Line (SHAME ON YOU DIRECTLINE). Absolute Scam! Left us 48hrs without hot water and heating to then declined the claim, accusing me of lying. Disgraceful Scam Artists. Be very aware and avoid this complete shower
