Finally installed into house

Finally installed into house. Up and running with new router. Moved all net appliances over to new service. Seems to be holding up well.
New Router uses different IP range so be sure to unplug old router and reboot to pick up DHCP allocated addresses. The router app can allocate fixed ip addresses but took some digging to find. Some set up a WiFi net to match the old service SSID and Password but I preferred a fresh start.

1st class service

My phone call was answered very quickly by Donna Bond - a real human, not a computer! She sorted my problem straight away and emailed confirmation of the action within a minute. 1st class service

Great Install by James M!
Had "airfibre" installed today, having previously also had a survey by James. Efficient, friendly, knowledgeable and all round a great service! Initial speeds and latency much better than Cloud Wireless.

Renewing Contract over the telephone

had my install today and everything is…

had my install today and everything is working like it should the engineer carl was really helpful and good. the only downfall is he stuck the main box to the wall with double sided tape which didn't hold so i got some gorilla tape which has secured it.
would of rather of had it screwed in to the wall but he said they don't like doing it.

The Issue to be resolved of where the incoming cable…

The issue of where the incoming cable is has yet to be resolved after visit by surveyor. We were told we would be contacted either last Friday or today Monday, no contact. Hopefully it will be sorted and number of stars will go up. We await contact.

unquestionable renewal

Excellent

Excellent, we had no Internet since the 18th November, we notified our supplier, sky, got no assistance at all, so I cancelled, Talk, Talk then said take over on the 27th November,, still nothing, open reach contacted, told to not contact them, contact supplier!!! No connection, & got in touch with you & with in a week 13th December we had Internet, engineers were great explained what they had to do, I am so pleased with the service & I would recommend you all the time

Airband Service and Installation

Owen the Airband Engineer installed our wireless broadband connection and went the extra mile to make sure it was completed to a good standard. The dish survived storm Darragh! We have had much better Internet service than with our old traditional ISP.

Some initial issues but ok now

It took an age to receive our router - we were told that it would be despatched the next day, but it took over a week. We also did not have a power supply for the fitting on the wall. Now that we’re connected, the service is good

Brilliant service from Alex

Our mast came down in the storm and I have to work from home, We live very rurally and are stuck with the internet. Airband were absolutely brilliant for keeping us updated and when they did come out, it worked for a while and then went again, so my Husband rang the Engineer who came back within a couple of hours and spent ages fixing it. Big shout out to Alex for getting it sorted, being really helpful and so responsive!

Another bad review from me sadly

We've been using the Airband 'Microwave' system for many years now but in the words of the song, "When she was good, she was very good indeed, but when she was bad she was horrid"
Since the debacle back in June 2022 we've rumbled along nicely with just occasional hiccups.
Then on Wednesday morning the connection kept dropping every couple of minutes. I rang AB and it eventually cut to ansafone. On Thursday morning, I had a call back asking if the issue was rectified. I was away from home so the lady said she would email and I could reply with my answer. When I got home it was no better so I replied saying so. Then, about 2pm Thursday it was suddenly fixed and worked seamlessly till Saturday night (although I'd had no reply from AB) Then on Sunday morning it was back to intermittent. I phoned and left two messages and also emailed twice with no acknowledgement.
Then, at about 1.40pm on Monday it was working again and hasn't missed a beat ... but still no correspondence from AB ... it's as if they don't care!

Very polite engineer arrived on time…

Very polite engineer arrived on time and did the work well, we now have the fastest broadband we have ever had and so far so good. Seems great value for money, the router has a smart look.
Will recommend to anyone that can make use of it.
