I've been with Alpha for 2 years

I've been with Alpha for 2 years. They are easy to work with and insurance policy goes alive in no time. Very convenient. Luckily no claims were involved so I hope it works the same way.

Decent prices,
fairly easy to enter details online.
Not yet had to use the insurance ,hopefully I never will .

Call centre nightmare

We have been pleased to use Alpha for annual health cover and recommend to friends but my husband simply wants to add a new hip to the notification- not possible online I don’t know why ???
So 8 weeks post op hes now tried 4 times each call going through the rigmarole and being told they would get back or it must be 8 weeks post op. Well it is and he’s just been on the phone again and got nowhere from the operator who “ needs to look into all the medical issues” which are all there on her computer again. We wrote a letter and got the usual useless call centre reply. What is going g on. Are the call centre charging alpha by the minute ?
————-And since then we have had our insurance cancelled , then half renewed after I pointed out we were assured we’d be covered but not for the recent hip replacement which is apparently a huge risk. ? How can this be. And no operator will listen they just read out questions we’ve answered again. And again. So very let down. There doesn’t seem to be anyone able to speak common sense and we are both medical

Easy to do

Site was very clear. It was easy to do. Of course, the main point of interest will be what happens if I have to make a claim - much more interesting and to the point than buying the insurance

Altogether an easy experience

Altogether an easy experience , young man was very helpful and polite . it was reasonably quick and priced .i was recommended by a friend and have already recommended you to another .
