WiFi intercom an absolute scam
My 55 unit building upgraded the intercom system in 2022 and chose Comelit.
i opted for the WiFi upgrade, as this should give me access to the system via the Comelit App.
The initilal set-up was extremely challenging and it took me over an hour with tech support to get the wall unit to connect with my wifi and my phone.
the system was unreliable and cumbersome and malfunctioned after a month or so.
i didn't bother to try again - but now, two yrs later, i decided to try again.
the Comelit tec support was really knowledgable, friendly and patient, but was unable to make the system work with my app/phone.
I asked the technician if it's normally this complicated and he said, "yes, unfortunately"
he said the the tech dep experience a lot of issues with this system and are often unable to resolve issues. He advised to upgrade the system for the ENTIRE BUILDING!
It's completely unbelievable to me that this company has been able to keep selling these horrible archaic non-working systems.
