Help on a cold winter's day

Mechanic arrived more quickly than promised. He sorted the problem( a flat battery) and gave me advice as to the best way to prevent or at least lessen the problem in the future. He was very approachable and helpful.

excellent service

excellent service within 2 hours of my phone call a man came out removed the punctured wheel and fixed my spare wheel also advising me that another wheel needing replacing. This was done and my car passed it's M.O.T.

Apart from a little confusion on the…

Apart from a little confusion on the part of the admin, the service was very good. What happened was that I had a flat battery and asked for help to get me started, what turned up was a huge flatbed vehicle ready to take me to get a new battery fitted, luckily, the driver was able to jump lead the battery and give advice as to how to manage to get it fully charged, which worked very well. He has extremely patient and helpful which I fully appreciated being a female 87 year old (!) Jean Kirkpatrick

The home-start response arrived in less…

The home-start response arrived in less than an hour and started my car in 5 minutes. I was advised to get the battery checked at my local garage immediately, which I did, and replaced the battery the same day!

Friendly, helpful staff

Upon contacting CMB the call was answered quickly. I spoke to a friendly member of staff who explained the process and next steps. I was contacted with an ETA for the recovery vehicle. The recovery vehicle arrived earlier than predicted and the young man was really friendly and polite. The whole process was handled professionally with friendly, helpful and courteous staff. Thank you.

Effortless renewal process

Effortless renewal process for a very reasonable price. It is worth noting however that I have yet to make a claim on the policy in 3 years, so I cannot rate the level of service or reliability but the policy sounds great.

First class service

We were genuinely at our wits end with the car having broken down. CoverMy sent out a mechanic within a couple of hours who was very helpful and wouldn't give up on the problem. We certainly will renew our policy with them.

I waited only 15 minutes to be rescued when my vehicle broken down on the m62 service was great from beginning to end also a competitive rate to other services I have used in the past great work guy's

Cover My csme up really tops..magic.i recommend

Cover my turned a disaster into an acceptable happening....not needed any rescue for about 55 years so much trepidation when I called for help. But oh what a pleasant experience they made it. Swift and easy contact....very swift pick up and trailered home after clutch cable fail on a dark cold night. Can't praise enough every person I dealt with. First contact,dispatcher and the rescue truck drive from 356. He was so kind and caring. Got me and my car home safe and sound on the day before Christmas eve..magic..thank you to you all.

This was 31 December but time it took…

This was 31 December but time it took some time hence 4 stars. But once I explained the position we got fantastic information and a relatively speedy service for our puncture. I would recommend. This is the first time we have had to use a breakdown service in a long while and we were impressed with the service.

alls well that ends well thanks to the correct advice given

I awoke to find my rear tyre was totally flat with a large nail in it . I called out cover my as due to a very bad back I found it very difficult to change the tyre
When the breakdown man arrived he suggested he would inflate the tyre with the nail still in and I drive to the local tyre repairer as he thought it would require a new tyre . This I did and a new tyre was fitted ALL WAS FINE THEN he did assure me that it would stay inflated till I got the job done. Thanks to this man as he was correct and all was well .

I emailed on 8th January to advise I…

I emailed on 8th January to advise I didn't want to renew my policy and I couldn't find a way to do this online so could they do it for me. Today (29 January) I received policy documents and they have taken the payment from my account. I tried to call them but after 25 minutes on hold I gave up and tried another email address. We'll see if anyone bothers to get in touch but I will be disputing the payment from my account.

Zero stars

Zero stars. I was not aware I had an automatic subscription until the money had gone from my account today. The website doesn’t help me, email reply says can’t help me I have to ring, I rang and waited over 2 hours in a queue!!! I can’t sit on the phone for hours so no idea how to get my money refunded and stop the subscription!!! It’s not a huge amount of money but it’s the principle that I didn’t knowingly sign up to something that I don’t want or need on an annual basis and they make it incredibly difficult to cancel!

The lady on the breakdown phone number…

The lady on the breakdown phone number was very helpful, she organised the recovery truck and although she warned us that it could take up to at least an hour it arrived within about 20 mins. The driver took the car to the garage we chose and he was also very helpful and friendly.
