Okay in the end, but room for improvement
Everything to begin with was fine switching online was easy and given my start date, router was dispatched and arrived the day after it was sent out. I was emailed to say my connection was live 10th of December ( my go live date) and BT switched off, I had no access to the internet the whole day the router would not connect. Called customer support who told me it could take 24-36 hours to actually connect and that was basically it, nothing they could do. Absolutely useless.
I didn’t have time to argue as I needed to get back online for work, I had to work elsewhere for the day, fine but don’t email saying your connection is now live and send a bill when I’m not even connected. It’s infuriating. Especially if you need to wait 24-36 hours, that’s not live.
Tried again morning 11th still not connecting so I called again 11th of December first thing and spoke with Ashleigh who solved the issue within 5 minutes and had me up and running, made sure everything was working, ran everything through and was polite and more importantly apologised, I was expecting an argument but came away pleasantly surprised.
Why couldn’t have this been done the first day? Would have saved me having to ring twice and having to work somewhere else putting me at financial and time burden.
