Wanting to take more responsibility for my meat consumption and get closer to nature in general by getting into deer hunting had been on my radar for many years, but I didn't know where to start. After meeting Ben at the Gone Wild festival I knew immediately that I had found my guy.

Stepping into the world of Deer Stalking, thanks to Ben, has been a positively life-changing experience.

Having gone on a few guided stalks and now attended the Deer Stalking Level 1 Certification course, this is now firmly a part of my life.

I don't think there is anything Ben doesn't know about these beautiful creatures, and his professionalism and conscientiousness in what he does are 5-star.

I lost part of an essential 3 point rifle sling. Ben responded quickly with not only the replacement part but also another 2 pieces, 1 that can be easily broken if stood on, the other a great looking deer drag that compliments the rifle sling. All for £19.99.

Can’t recommend Deer Central enough. Ben Lightowler was a great instructor, very knowledgeable and precise in the presentation of the material needed to pass the DSC1 qualification. The Bisley range was an awesome place to shoot and can’t give thanks enough to Fat Tony’s burger van for some much needed hot food. All in all a very enjoyable 3 days intense course but definitely worth it.

I recently purchased an EKA swingblade G4 from Deer Central. On checking out, I forgot to add my ID and Deer Central were quick to remind me to produce my ID so my order wasn’t delayed.

Polite, friendly and quick delivery. I will be using them again going forward.

As for the swingblade itself, absolutely brilliant knife, butchered my hand to pieces the first time I used it. Never experienced a new knife that surgically sharp before. This was down to user error though.

This was the second time I have had some marksmanship training with Deer Central, and once again, Ben picked up on the little things I was doing that could be better and helped put them right with his knowledge and friendly tutoring style.

Ben is a VERY knowledgeable hunter and coach , there really isn’t much he doesn’t no about deers/ deer stalking .

Couldn’t of asked for a better teacher, through out the whole course Ben made sure everyone understood each topic and made sure no one got left behind.
