We have had long-standing issues with the installation of a solar PV system using Duracell products. After 7 months it appears that these issues have finally been resolved. Harry of Duracell visited and changed the grid code (we were apparently connected to India, not the UK!) and also some wiring connections. Very pleased that we are now in control of the system but very annoyed that it has taken so long for the installer and Duracell to recognise the problem and deal with it. Jack analysed my PV usage and in the end suggested I wouldn't need two extra batteries but one. Jack sent me details of the analysis with explanation of his suggestion. He also sent an intro email to Glowgreen who may be able to help obtain a additional Puredrive battery. I call that excellent customer service.

Problem finally resolved

Excellent customer service.
I had reason to contact Duracell Eenergy to discuss a faulty puredrive battery and also discuss purchasing an additional battery to expand my system. Jack Court arranged a replacement battery for the faulty one under warrent and also provided an another battery at a very reasonable price for system expansion. The service provided to me was excellent and is worthy of the 5 stars I have given.

I was having trouble setting up the apps for my solar and batteries. I emailed for help and Katie responded and made what would otherwise have been impossible(for me) task easy. Exceptional Service from Jack Court at Duracell
I can't thank Jack Court at Duracell enough for his outstanding support. I had a tricky situation on Saturday, needing help commissioning my Puredrive 3-phase batteries with a Solis S6 10KW inverter, and Jack went above and beyond to assist me, even though it was outside of normal working hours. His knowledge of the system is truly impressive – he knew it inside and out. He patiently guided me through the process and helped me get everything up and running smoothly. I was incredibly impressed with his expertise and willingness to help. Highly recommend Jack and Duracell for anyone needing assistance with their battery systems! A true lifesaver!

Made an upgrade to an 8 year old solar system in nov 2024. With a new Dura-i 6kw inverter and 10kw of Dura5 home energy storage batteries. Made a huge improvement to the functionality and ease of use with software. I installed myself, instructions were super clear and easy to follow. Lots of documentation and youtube channel gives everything you need to know.
Move on to Feb 2025 and I have grown my home system with 10 more solar panels a second Dura-i inverter, running in parallel with the first one and another Dura5 battery.
This was a lot more complex and challenging to complete myself. But again the specific documentation for this setup was readily available from their service downloads. I had a minor error (my fault) needed a firmware update on one inverter to put them both on the newest version.
I called the service help and was answered in just a few seconds. The help, knowledge and attention to detail were fantastic. Oli Burge was first to help get me up and running while they ran some online diagnosics on the system. He soon reported back, with some changes to my software settings. Second time calling spoke to Tom Carwardine again the phone was answered swiftly, and he understood exactly my issue. The firmware was scheduled for an overnight reload and when I got up this morning. It was all complete and an email from Tom to say all is working now. To top it off the sun even came out for a couple of hours of selling back to national grid.
Duracell are a recognised high quality brand and their home energy storage system are well placed to meet the brand expectaion.
Product is recommended and service support is unbeatable.

Great to support a British Brand
We have been a solar PV installation company since 2010 and over the last 15 years, we have seen many companies come and go. I was introduced to Puredrive Energy via Greentech and they are now our preferred brand of battery being a British company & from their ethics, it's obvious they will be a long term contender in the renewables space.
In terms of quality control and customer service Puredrive go beyond typically expectations in the industry. Amazing Service
We are a PV and Battery installation company. We have completed a number of Duracell Energy installations. The products are great, user-friendly and installed easily. The build quality and design are market-leading. If there is any support needed, the technical team are always willing and goes beyond to resolve the issue.
