I used this service in Turkey Marmaris…
I used this service in Turkey Marmaris during our visit in June 2022 after the hotel WI-FI was unstable and my data roaming with VODAFONE was terrible. Managed to get on a bar Wi-Fi and find this service after Googling, easy set up quick payment and within 10 minutes I had set up ESIM with a Turkish network provider supplied by HOLAFLY. After that I had perfect 4G service every place we visited.

DO NOT recommend for travelers in USA
Got a 5-day unlimited package for traveling in San Diego and LA using iPhone 12 Pro Max. Basically, the unlimited data were useless because it only provides 3G or 4G (sometimes) other than LTE in both areas. The connection is so so slow that I was unable to open websites like google from time to time. Critically, it even lost coverage in the Getty Center area. Think about it, how frustrated it's going to be when you lost your connection to the apple map while you are driving on the highway. Anyway, I DO NOT recommend this provider to someone who is planning to travel to the USA.

THIS COMPANY SELLS YOU A PREPAID UK SIM CARD. IT´S NOT AN AMERICAN PHONE COMPANY, SO YOU CARD ONLY HAVE ROAMING SERVICES. THIS MEANS THAT YOUR DATA QUALITY IS BAD AND YOU HAVE TO SPEND A LOT OF MB TO OPEN GOOGLE MAP OR A SIMPLE WEBSITE. I CAREFULY ADVICE EVERYONE TO SPEND THEIR MONEY IN A PREPAID AMERICAN CARD THAT YOU CAN BUY IN AIRPORT OR BY INTERNET, DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS

Slow and unreliable, and tethering to other devices is forbidden
I was traveling the US for multiple weeks, and after having paid $26 twice for two packs of 10 GB at Airalo I figured there hadde to be something better out there, preferably with more data. Enter Holafly!
Holafly offered unlimited data in the US, and was affordable as well! Unfortunately I soon discovered that the service did not support tethering other devices, so I was unable to use it with my tablet as I intended. Not really unlimited. This limitation is written in the faq, but I unfortunately did not read the faq before I had to troubleshoot why my tablet couldn't tether. The new service from Holafly was also more unreliable and a lot slower than my old service from Airalo. In the end I caved in and bought another 10GB pack from Airalo.
On a positive note they were really quick to respond to my email, but with no obvious resolve to my complaint. I probably won't use Holafly again.
