Over a year ago we opened a Fixed Rate One Year bond with Investec. The process was completed online and was quick and straightforward,
The bond recently matured and again both the renewal and transfer of interest happened seamlessly.
I am happy to recommend Investec.

We have used Investec a number of times
Firstly the interest rates have always been competitive.
Secondly the website is easy to follow and easy to read
Thirdly setting up the first time was fairly easy (unless you are a complete technophobe). Once registered adding new accounts is easy.
Fourthly you are not bombarded with spam

There is not much I need to write about Investec and their offering. Its perfect. Ok the Interest Rates could be a little higher but overall my money is safe, customer service is excellent and I sleep easy at night. 10/10 5* ... highly recommended and happy client.

I've invested with Investec for a number of years. I find it one of the easiest to access and monitor on line. A great benefit at 77. The company also keeps one up to date but does not indulge in unnecessary emails

They offered a very competitive interest in my 12 month fixed saver. When it came to its maturity, a month prior emailed me with advice and options at maturity. Delighted with service, I have reopened my account now for the third year running.

All good renewing my savings account. Just one annoying thing, on maturity you are only given 2 options, reinvest whole amount or withdraw whole amount. I wanted to split the amount between renewal and withdrawing the interest so that the balance was a round number. In the event I had to add an obscure amount to add to the account to make it a round number reinvested. Doable but annoying.

Opening an account was extraordinarily simple and in contrast to many main stream Banks. A good rate of interest, in contrast to the Banks and just as flexible. An App would be nice and an App that integrated with other Investec/Rathbone products would be perfect . Very pleased so far.

Investec didn’t carry out my wishes to move my savings from one a/c to another they instead returned my money with interest, leaving me to pay it back into the my new a/c which ment that I lost 4 days interest. Apart from that reasonable interest rates

All in all a good experience. Quick and easy to do. A major improvement would be to be able to renew with any amount. It is currently too restrictive being only allowed to renew with everything or the same sum minus the interest.

I found that the 90-day notice account being offered by Investec ver competitive. It was easy to transfer from a maturing fixed rate bond held with Investec.
