We’ve been using the gps tracker for about a half year and so far it has been very useful. Our dog likes to run away from us and this tracker has helped us find him numerous times. The latest occasion on which Kippy helped us was when our dog ran away and fell into a deep hole. We had no clue where he could be and then we checked the app. If it wasn’t for the app, he wouldn’t have survived.

Very useful device. Now my dog can run freely with me being always aware of his position.
I just miss an arrow indicating me which direction should be taken to find my dog.

Absolute bloody garbage. The k my thing good about them is the battery life and the collar to hold the Kippy. Otherwise don’t waste your money. App is incredibly useless, where’s ur dog? Could be anywhere.

Warning against this company.

I have written a review a month ago and this is an important update. This is not a review of someone after a month that says: "hey it works" This is a review of three Kippy's over many years and I therefore want to warn against this company and their products. If a customer "service" is so indifferent and arrogant and and does not want to hear criticism of their baby than nothing will improve in the product.
And indeed, as a reaction to my earlier review, Kippy emailed me with "we would like to help you out with your issues. We would like to know the ID code (it’s the code behind the device) so that we can arrange a valid solution (e.g. a replacement) for you;"
So I gave it a 2 weeks thought and decided to give it one last try. So I wrote again all the issues also noted in that review. And how did the customer "service" respond to this? "I am giving you to procedure t stop the automatic renewal. To deactivate your subscription follow this procedure." I was really angry and asked if they even bothered to read the review and their initial offer. The second response was now: "just checked on our system both of the device: both are registered in 2016 and are therefore out of warranty"
Again I asked if they had bothered to read into the entire history of the complaint and there is no reply anymore. This is exactly what I have been hassling with over the past years. The products doesn't work after a while. There is no useful help at all from this Italian customer "service". And if they don't know what to to do next, you do not get a single answer anymore. And than after a while they just respond with: "the warranty period is now over". And it doesn't matter to them that the complaint already started years ago and was only paused because they themselves did not respond anymore. I really want to warn against this lousy product. It is a pity that I cannot upload files here because than I could upload all the emails that I have.
And if Kippy wants to respond again: ticket number 4519. I thought this follow up is very much needed since here at Trustpilot they react,underneath the bad reviews, as if they are going to help you. So that they look good on Trustpilot. But this is the story what happens behind the screens in reality.

Kippy soon looses its shine

This is a review over three Kippy's after around 4 years of usage.
Kippy worked decent enough, not the best, when it was just Kippy. But then they came with Kippy Vita. A useless health program added to it. Who wants that? And the prescription rate is double of that of the old Kippy. But even worse, it became a lousy product. It works just on and off. Many times we experienced that: "cannot reach the Kippy. Make sure that it is switched on" And indeed we needed to sort of reset it by switching it off and on again. How frustrating is that when you actually lost your dog?! Battery sometimes didn't fully load altough the light was green. This is a review of having three Kippy's over a period of about 4 years. They work fine in the beginning but start to hassle you very much after a while. And the Italian customer service is totally lousy. The same as the Kippy. Seems helpful at the start but when the problems continue no one responds anymore.
UPDATE as a reply on the comment of Kippy on this review: We have had three Kippy's and all had the exact same problems. Last attempt: yesterday. Kippy was fully charged and enough reception but still couldn't find it. It needed a reset by switching it off and on again. How very inconvenient if we would have actually lost our dog. We are done with Kippy's. Don't want them anymore. They are lousy after a year. I have been through this problem over and over and over again with your helpdesk. You cannot solve this and after a while I do not hear anything from you anymore. I am the one who has finally been back into contact with you through the Dutch importer who also did not hear from you at first. Finally one of your managers had to intervene. You know my name. It is in this review. You can see in your system what has been going on over the years. You can contact me if you wish. I am not going to contact you anymore. After three lousy Kippy's, money down the drain and a lot of hassle to get into contact with you it is over. We move on to another brand.

I have buy a new Kippy because the other one ( 2 years old).the battery was not working good. I had a new id number with a premium pakket from the other kippy. I can not replace the kippy so I send it back to you.
When will I get my money back?

Complete waste of money

Bought two trackers for my two dogs. Awful, never properly works. I have the devices set to update the app every 24 hours to save the battery life, but they still only last 2 days maximum. And most of the time they don't even update that often! There's been days where they haven't updated in 2 48 hours.

On top of that, when on holiday I tried to use the 'Live Tracking' mode to try and see where they were, waited for 10 mins.... nothing... 20 mins... nothing! Not much use if your dog has run away and you need a constant update of where it is!

And to top it all off, trying to get a refund for the products has been one of the most painful processes I have been through, I've been actively trying for well over a week now!
