Had issues connecting laptops to the…

Had issues connecting laptops to the WiFi network constantly being told that the password wrong. Eventually I connected them after 2 days by using admin password first followed by WiFi password. Now having the same problem connecting Alexa but no joy yet! UPDATE - very helpful email from LF help desk talked me through setting up a Guest WiFi on the router which can now connect to Alexa.

After the initial installation none of…

After the initial installation none of my equipment would connect to the WIFI.
I rang immediately and it took over a week for someone to contact me about the issue.
My son in law came round and reset the router and eventually got it working.

Nearly 5 stars

Pretty Good, just fell short of 5 stars due to a missing adapter cable for the phone (collected in person on the second visit) Fobbed off on the first visit, then one miraculously found in a drawer! Installers had to be reminded we had ordered an extender too.

So glad to have switched to Lightning Fibre.

Great experience from a local company from first going into their shop and signing up to installation. Extremely helpful and friendly staff and good prices with no in contract hikes for 2 years. Couldn’t be more happy and would definitely recommend.

Great Service and Support

Top draw. I did have an issue which after some advice from the LF help desk turned out to be an issue at my end. The assistance received was thorough and the problem was resolved. And just as important, the call I made was answered almost immediately and the call-back delivered as promised. Thanks for sorting. I now have c.1 Gb/s internet.

Fibre installation

This Company is the Real Deal

Lightening Fibre are one of the best companies I have had the pleasure of being a new customer with for a long time and here’s why.
We have had non stop technical issues with our last supplier (Vodafone), so I wanted to make sure that when I switched over with someone I wasn’t going from the frying pan into the fire. I phoned around a few suppliers, who some didn’t have a clue what I was talking about (Zen, Idenet) and some have not phoned back (toob, Brillband) I spoke with tech support who were on the ball, knew there product, did not give me any false promises but backed that up with, if there were any unforeseen problems they would be there for you to resolve them and they were not reading from a script.
We had our installation on the 16th December and I have to say all of the issues we have had before have gone away. This is the best broadband we have ever had. All of our devices have come alive and are working better now than ever before. The router you are supplied with works across all of our property, no need for any boosters, where as before we needed 2.

I get the sense that this is a family style run business, I just hope and pray that as they grow, because I have no doubt that they will, they remain customer focused and do not become busy fools. I say this because selfishly I do not want them to change because they are brilliant.

100% satisfied!

Finally got Gigabyte internet! Lightning Fibre have been fantastic, I got a brilliant deal, customer service has been excellent and installation was completely painless. Thank you Conor and Rob for installing it for me! Very professional, as is everyone I have dealt with at Lightning Fibre.

I can’t describe how satisfied I am with everything. 10/10 would recommend to anyone who is able to upgrade!

Lightning Fibre installation - Damian the legend!

This review is for the Lightning Fibre installation performed in terrible, wet and windy conditions today by Damian who shinned up a telegraph pole, expertly placed the hardware with due care and attention and quickly, politely and cleanly finished the job. Bravo him.
As for the service itself, 3 out of 4 devices picked it up immediately (a Windows 10 laptop is having some difficulty but we'll sort it); it's claiming to be 3 times faster than my old land line - and cheaper too. So far so good.

Great service from start to finish

Great service from start to finish, although I had to get in the loft and help pull the cable through the wall and down the cavity but on the plus I got the control gear where I wanted it and no cables down my outside wall 👍

As for signal, I got the 1gb package but haven’t really had more than 300- 500 since installed, the signal around the house is only fairly good down stairs, upstairs is 79mbps not great. Had to reboot several times and only on my first week.
Hope it improves

I made two telephone calls to the…

I made two telephone calls to the office prior to arranging an appointment for the change from BT to Lightning Fibre and in both cases my call was answered almost instantly, which in itself is a rarity in the 21st Century, so for me that was a great start.
I had some questions that I wanted answers to, before going ahead with the change, and these were all answered, in detail.
When the guys came to the house to carry out the work, they came within the stated 'time frame'. unlike BT, who didn't even turn up.
The guys were very efficient and cleaned and tidied up at the completion of the job.
The entire process was excellent, and has been by far, my best 'customer experience in many many years and it doesn't surprise me that they receive the excellent reviews that they do.
