Very Helpful and knowledgeable

Dom and Ricky were quick, efficient and very helpful during our installation. Dom was able to provide lots of advice to us for future proofing our connection whilst we renovate to give us the best connectivity throughout our house. We are very happy. Thank you.

Excellent service

The engineers were excellent , professional and friendly
Asked where I wanted the equipment fitted ...
Was a very neat installation- wasn't the nicest weather but they just got on with it ...
Overall very impressed and would recommend to others

Excellent servixe

Had lightning fibre installed in November, the two installers (Dom & Ricky) were excellent. Discussed where we wanted the connection to enter our property, work was neat and tidy, and good explanation of the system at the end of the installation. Internet is working well

Very easy & very good

Arrangements for installation & set-up really easy. Communication has been really good - emails/texts & phone calls on every step & also notifications when work being done elsewhere may cause a loss or drop-off in service ( no losses yet!).
Internet is lightning speed, with no apparent drop-off at "peak" periods.
VOIP set-up was easy.
Slight niggle initially with hub management software - but only because I've been used to a desktop function rather than a phone app - & I'm getting more familiar with it now, 2 weeks in.

Dom and Ricky did a great job in cold weather with the
install. Everything explained and working with a great
improvement in broadband speed. From 1st contact to
install it was all 1st class.

We clearly chose the wing company to upgrade with.

Before I go into this, I’d just like to say how good City Fibre were at installing the fibre, on time , courteous, speedy & no mess.

New router up and running, well for 3 hours bearing in mind this was a Friday & then went down. Tried calling tech support but gave up after a 15 minute wait with no pick up.
Tried Sales, who picked up on the 3rd ring. Funny that.
To cut a very long story short after a further 14 calls, be aware……
They offer a 24/7 service, but in fact after 1700 on a Friday you may get a response suggesting a ticket has been raised for the problem.
What they don’t say is that the ticket will not even be looked at before 0800 on Monday.
Transpires they have no Tech Support working over the weekend.
No apology, no fight to keep a new customer, an all round bad experience .
I’ll let you decide, but I’ve tabled this to make you aware that the grass on the the other side isn’t always greener.

Lightning Fast

Brilliant service,was fitted very quick by Andy and Jacob and exactly where i asked for it to be fitted. Both guy's avid gamers so knew what i wanted it for. I was used to 25mbps or less with bt and as a gamer that speed wasn't any good for streaming and took an age to download anything. Brilliant now as now have 150mbps download and 154 upload speeds so gaming and streaming no problem at all. Thoroughly recommend lightning fibre to everyone as I'm extremely happy with mine and it's only £22 a month as well. They also do a 50mb service on a social tariff at £15 a month and you can upgrade or downgrade at anytime if you want. I got mine on their Xmas sale and didn't need anymore speed than that but the upper tarifs aren't that expensive either I'm just trying to keep costs down at the moment so what I've got suits me fine and very happy with it. So far no interuptions at all in service and just does exactly what it says on the tin and you can't ask for more than that.

Straightforward connection and faster broadband

The person connecting our house arrived promptly and was very efficient. I was able to have the cable coming into the house in my preferred place and the work was carried out very neatly. After that it was easy to get everything up and running. Faster than our previous (not fibre) internet and a bit cheaper.

It was easy to join via the Internet

It was easy to join via the Internet, an the engineers that installed the modem where very good and explain everything.
Only down side i had to contact my last broadband provider myself where as bigger companies do it for you

Dom and Ricky

Dom and Ricky, arrived on time and are very nice, helpful guys. The install was very quick and efficient with no mess left behind and speeds as promised. Couldn't fault them or Lightning Fibre and would highly recommend. Worth adding is that the limited contact I have had with the office team was also excellent, all very helpful.

Good job

Arrived on time, pleasant chaps, explained what they were going to do, assumed that did what they said as the system works. Left place tidy. They had to take up part of the drive, which they put back exceedingly well.

Great installation team and speeds

Great installation team, checked I was half with everything before installing. Really friendly guys.
Speed has been consistent and great, max advertised too which is a bonus as I know WiFi isn’t always as fast as the speeds they say.
10/10 would recommend

Ricky and Dom

Ricky and Dom, Excellent fitters, installation went without any problems.
The only criticism would be the new router and its flashing green lights which are quite intense at night (router has to be located in bedroom} so have to cover up or switch off. Would be much better as a simple box.
LF were able to remotely switch off the flashing green lights, so now happy add extra star!
