Professional helpful Bank

they provide a very professional service to their customers. The online staff are very helpful and patient with those who make mistakes when opening new account and they give aid customers the right area to complete their forms without in any way trying to direct them to their products only. Excellent procedure!

Things were clear and simple

Things were clear and simple. I like how, when you make a deposit, you very quickly get a message telling you that your deposit has been received. It's reassuring.

Good bank but could be better

On the whole a good service is provided. However it would be useful if you could transfer money in from a range of accounts rather than a nominated account. There are also delays in notifying when funds are received which could be improved upon.

An excellent account opening process

The application process was easy to do, clear and made complete sense, with well written and succinct info and instructions. Ongoing comms have also been clear and relevant. Both the website and app do what's required and include all the key info needed within the core screens. I'm very pleased I've set up the account.

Disappointing Online Banking Experience

My experience with OakNorth Bank's website has been disappointing. Even though I have deposited a substantial sum into my account, I have encountered numerous difficulties when attempting to set it up online. It doesn't give me much hope that they can handle my money safely. This is not at all what a bank should have—a smooth and dependable platform.

The transfer to close my account with…

The transfer to close my account with OakNorth was swift. I never encountered any problems and the customer service was efficient. I would have loved to keep my savings with OakNorth but unfortunately somewhere else offered a better rate.

Cash ISAs

I moved my fixed term ISA from OakNorth on maturity to another provider as they had a better rate of interest. However, I have a second ISA with OakNorth taken out earlier this year when its interest rate could not be beaten. Both transactions went very smoothly.

I have banked with OakNorth for 2 years…

I have banked with OakNorth for 2 years now and never had any issues or problems. When closing my notice account everything was straight forward and I received funds on the day as promised. Also when reapplying the process was quick and straightforward.
