Hamzah listened

Hamzah listened. He made time to look back at past customer emails containing details of a very complicated situation which began on 19th August 2024. He told me he would check it all out and call me back, which he thankfully did. Others have not, even when promised.
For us the customer this situation has been the most stressful experience of achieving a resolution.
Hamzah has finally resolved this ongoing problem of sorting the energy bill out. We are very relieved and grateful.

Great Service

What can I say. I had 2 requests and Hayleigh responded immediately, the first was a straightforward admin request, but the 2nd was me asking if I would be able to qualify for recommending my daughter after she had opened an account with Octopus.
All done and dusted, we will both receive £50 each when her first DD has gone through.
Thank you Hayleigh and a Happy New Year to you and the Octopus team

The Importance of Heat, like The Sunll you finally came through and we're…

Well you finally came through and we're all deligently helpful, despite speaking with 8 of your team, and Imogen came up Tops.Though Technician was to come at 1 15 on, Time I was born in London. Though Octupus showed it's caring by getting an Egyptian Mohammed Gas Technician to attend much earlier over 10am. Hence your Deligencey is fully appreciated.

Switched a few years ago to Octopus who…

Switched a few years ago to Octopus who enabled us to have a two year fix when prices were crazy . Have again fixed for 12 x months and i feel the company is an excellent communicator to all their customers who we feel have an excellent energy suppkier in these extremely challenging times . Really pleased with the quick and easy contact ie managed to get straight through to an English speaking person and no long waiting queue with exhaustive menu options.
Really good to know that customer service will be a good experience and easy to contact.

Faulty gas meter display

We had a faulty gas meter display, so couldn't get a reading to sort out our bill. Hollie worked hard to arrange an engineer to fix the meter (not a straightforward process), sorted out our billing and kept us fully updated with progress.

E-mailed with an issue due to letting…

E-mailed with an issue due to letting agency sending wrong readings and serial numbers, leading to a massive over charge in energy costs. within 1 hour, the octopus agent had rectified this. outstanding and swift service

Faulty Gas Smart Meter

When I initially reported a fault in my gas meter, nobody seemed to be that interested. I was asked to send photos and a video and was promised a return phone call. Nothing happened.

When I managed to speak to somebody, the video hadn't been viewed or uploaded to my account. However, the agent I spoke to was super efficient and an engineer has finally been arranged to install a new meter.

If only it hadn't taken over a week (even discounting Christmas) I would have given 5 stars.

Always so nice

Octopus are always so easy to deal with and having bills that make sense is always a plus.
Lucy from P6 has been orchestrating our move to a new place (staying with octopus) and it's been nice to have a contact to ask questions if needed and the process has been simple :)

Never had problems

Since I have been with Octopus I have never queried any bills etc, I am always kept up to date with policy pricing and I believe if Which recommends you , then that’s good enough for me.
After changing my tariff from Flex to Fixed I am quite pleased with it.

My storage heater has stopped working…

My storage heater has stopped working after a botched smart meter install. I've now been without hot water for 8 days, which also happened to be at Christmas. Octopus refuse to accept the blame, agents say they'll call back but don't. X support told me to book my own electrician. I'm chronically ill, so find this treatment abhorrent. Avoid like the plague unless you want be treated subhuman. They used to be great but have sadly grown too big for their boots

Inshaff is a star great customer service

I dealt with Inshaff who has excellent customer service skills. I had problems with changing over to Octopus and after months of calling regarding my smart meter. After many phone calls which produced broken promises, I called again and spoke to Inshaff who was really nice and raised a complaint number and said I will get this sorted for you which I have heard all before to be honest, in a few days to my delight my smart meter dilemma was sorted. Inshaff was proactive and got the job done I'm now on Octopus Flux now i can take advantage of my solar. Inshaff is a star in my eyes.

Five Star Service from Tana

I can honestly say the customer service I received from Tana exceeded my expectations. It was truly exceptional. Tana was friendly, clear, concise and did exactly what I asked for and more. If I ever return to the UK I will sign up again to Octopus purely from the high customer service I received. Five star service.

Seemed straightforward to update to a…

Seemed straightforward to update to a new tariff.
I read all the Terms & Conditions- and cannot see anything which allows them to force me onto a Smart Meter against my Will (I dont want one)- so it appears to meet my needs. The 12M fix should save me about £70 based on the estimates.

Great customer service

Great customer service. I went to Octopus for advice on setting up a Direct Debit and the best scheme available to set up. It was great that I was able to be in contact with the same person during the whole process. Keanah, was excellent, he was very courteous, pleasant and extremely helpful. He came back to me all the details and set up the agreed transactions as necessary. Thank you Keanah, your help was really appreciated.

Been a customer for years, customer service has always been brilliant. I’ve moved into a new property and had to get in contact in an emergency. Paul D was fabulous, assisted me quickly and made sure both my meters are working. Many thanks octopus

Everything is really clear on my online…

Everything is really clear on my online account. My switch over from tariffs was extremely easy and clear. Taking credit from balance was easy without any issues. Every aspect of Octopus energy is outstanding!

Changing tariffs at Octopus Energy

Jess, who I spoke to today, responded quickly and completely understood how to help with my enquiry.
This was dealt with quickly and she subsequently advised me by email that the changes that I asked for were put in place.
I'm not sure that the smart meter has caught up yet though, so might need to make further contact.

No gas!

I had a gas emergency late on a Friday evening, I emailed and Claire S responded and kept in regular contact throughout my ordeal. An engineer was sent swiftly and the matter was resolved promptly. I am now warm again.

I was very satisfied with help to sort my problem out I think there were 2 young ladies that help me they are very good at there job very polite and courteous I felt very comfortable taking to them thank so much for all your help very much appreciated for that
