Great company

Completing the online purchasing of holiday cover was fairly quick. You get quite a few quotes (at very competitive prices) tailored to your needs, with each giving a detailed run down in terms of what is covered and to what extent. Once selected, the purchasing process is very quick, with all the relevant details available immediately after payment. Overall very satisfied with the process and competitive pricing. Would highly recommend

Another year on

I made enquiry on line for renewal of my annual policy and got a very competitive quote. I then phoned paying too much and the lady I spoke to was very professional, at the same time very friendly. She was so helpful and I went ahead and renewed my policy through payingtoomuch for another year.

Very simple process

Very simple process, even filling in the pre- existing conditions was straightforward. The quotes were of course varied in price and I found one that suited my needs and my bank account ! Altogether a stress free operation.

Reasonable prices

Used Paying too much for last few years and found them to be the most reasonably priced on the market for the cover we need due to medical issues, still pricey but not compared to other quotes we have had. We have never had to claim on insurance thankfully so cannot comment re this. Policy bought again for 2025 holiday. Always recommend to friends. Very easy and hassle free to purchase.

First time applying on line

First time my wife and I have applied online and found that it was really easy ,no complicated questions with your medical history very straightforward . There was also a helpline if needed.

great value for money

Have used Paying TooMuch for a number of years now.
Very happy with the price as I have a few medical issues. Feel reasonable price compared to other websites which can charge more than double. Never had to make a claim so cannot comment on this.

Renewing insurance

Made several calls to company with questions which were all answered with patience.Went on several sites and paying too much gave best quotes.Had good phone calls and help from Thndi and Nonsundii Well done and Thankyou ! Now have peace of mind !

Great choice for medical travel insurance

This travel company we have used before because they kinda do what it says on the tin. Their cover is reasonably priced compared to the same cover elsewhere. It is noted however that the hike in price is definitely evident compared to the summer, although that will be across the whole of the industry.
I have medical conditions, so it is especially important for me to get the correct insurance.
Their website is easy to navigate and there are quite a few companies to choose from, depending on your budget and needs. I would absolutely recommend them.

We got there at last!…

After speaking at length to two advisors who appeared to need further training, we were put through to Luyanda who was extremely helpful and patient and answered all our queries. Such a friendly and knowledgeable person. Top marks to Luyanda.

The agent went to a lot of trouble to…

The agent went to a lot of trouble to resolve my query. However, a lot of my time was wasted when 'no result' appeared having searched under Covid or its symptoms when inputting medical conditions for a travel insurance quote.

A very long journey!

The advisor was very helpful although a very long and ‘painful’ questionnaire!
Also, buying two lots of cover for different holidays, why was it needed to be asked the same list of questions again, obviously to give the same answers??

My wife had a suspected carcinoma that…

My wife had a suspected carcinoma that was refrerred to the underwriter. We didn't have the Histology report at that time and the insurers removed cover for that cancer, which we canunderstand. On receiving the Histology report it was good news, no cancer detected and that it might possibly be a wart caused by a previous viral infection. We asked for the new information to be referred back to the underwriters. They now want to know what the viral infection was even though no tests for a virus were deemed necessary by the Consultant or GP. How are we supposed to answer this question. Paying too much and the underwriters will not move on this and have given limited cover.

Please stay away from this truly afwul company. I suspect that the Broker and Insurer are part of the same group of companies and it is all a scam. Awful, woeful and difficult to deal with.

I am sorry that the service you received from us recently was not up to our usual high standards. When declaring medical conditions we need to know the name of each of the conditions in order for the correct level of cover to be provided. As our agents are not medically trained we can only ask the questions set by the underwriters.
