I had a lovely lunch , which was a coronation chicken sandwich and a good caramel latte , the staff member on the checkout was very polite when I asked for a price check , and there were some excellent bargains in the sale, overall a very good experience

This is mainly for Novells restaurant. Despite being extremely busy and being told there'd be a 20 minute wait for food it was delivered fairly quickly in under ten minutes. Breakfasts are good value for money nicely cooked and very filling with generous portions. Staff are always pleasant and very helpful.
For the rest of the garden centre some of the private shops can be slow to get served and often understaffed but Polhill's own service is always very good.

Multi-faceted garden centre with a good range of plants complimented with a wide range of other products and gifts. I can see why coaches come here. Friendly staff and some branded shops within (e.g. Pavers) also helps with things like click and collect. Ample free parking too which is as it should be. Perhaps better connectivity through other transport (more buses for those withou a car) but generally a good adventure. Food on site

We often come to you not only at Christmas but throughout the year.Its a bonus that we have a membership & that we get a free coffee each month plus a little gift at times,but regardless of that we enjoy the outside planting,the grocers shop,butchers,the restaurant & the team that works there.Thank you polhill & merry Christmas to you all.

The staff are very helpful and friendly. We recently took our grandson to see Santa at Polhill which was made a magical experience again so friendly and the layout, decoration and of course Santa were excellent. Love the offers sent through each month including the free coffee we use this regularly and also pick up plants etc whilst at Polhill. Thank you very much, please carry on with these great offers and the way you work.

We love Polehill garden centre usually but this last time was absolute madness, the wait time for the restaurant was approximately an hour and a half, So we decided not to wait like many others.
We had travelled about 15 miles to get there.
Also the normally tasty hot chocolate has been replaced by a machine version that is nothing like the original and was sent back, others had complained and sent back too, it tastes disgusting now.
These are only little niggles because usually everything is great and that includes the very helpful and professional staff.

Visited today and not much goodwill here, well not to the many of us that have dogs at least. Most Garden Centres allow dogs now and since covid there has been an explosion in dog ownership - a route around the place could easily be devised without entering the food hall, or having zones that dogs are not permitted. Yes, I understand there may be challenges but these for Polehill are opportunities - If other Garden Centres can manage it why not Polehill? Maybe the management team needs to take a trip around some of the other centres and see how its done? It clearly costs them business, ours at least...

I have always found the staff helpful. They sell so much merchandise, it is almost like walking into a department store. Their plants are excellent, and again the staff are knowledgeable. The butchery department sells really good quality meat, and the fresh produce shop although expensive often sells things that can’t be bought elsewhere.

We visited Father Christmas last Wednesday. Really nice experience for my just 1year old grand daughter and for my daughter and myself. Very relaxed - Father Christmas went out of his way to greet all the children and we enjoyed singing Christmas songs and nobody cried when it was their turn to sit with FC for photos in his very nicely decorated grotto

Polehill garden centre is a christmas tradition for our family. We travel there especially for the christmas displays in December. We have been going for over 20 years and absolutely love the Place. We enjoy lunch there and then spend hours gazing at and choosing our christmas treats, presents and decorations. It's a wonderful place in December, that I can vouch for and would highly recommend a visit to everyone!

Everything you could want & more. Helpful & friendly staff. You cannot visit Polhill & not come away without purchasing something. I love visiting & looking around the homeware things & plants buying gifts.

I love Polhill, it’s an amazing garden centre, I go there a lot! Perfect in the summer for all your garden needs and brilliant at Christmas time with all the decorations and gifts and now the Christmas market. It’s always good to stop in the restaurant too for a delicious bit of lunch. There’s so much choice at Polhill and I know people come from miles to visit.

Regular visit to Polhill.
Always a pleasure as I can wander around and choose what is on my shopping list and do it in my own time.
There is a good variety of products available and a visit to the fruit and veg store is always a must, Having to follow a gluten free diet, I am always on the lookout for items to add to my usual list. Parking is easy and I always conclude my visit with a coffee at the small
cafe.If searching for a birthday or Christmas gifts, there is a huge choice for ideas.
Thank you for the free bird food and opportunity of a free coffee once a month.Polhill deserves its good reputation.

We live in Caterham and only started visiting Polhill in 2023 but it is now our 'go to' garden centre. There is a good range of products and we can spend a couple of hours looking around. We also always save time to have lunch while we are there, which is excellent.

Amanda in Novells was extremely helpful and friendly. She seemed rushed off her feet but still managed to get the food to us quickly. Sadly the restaurant seemed unstaffed. Doesn't seem to have many staff on the floor clearing tables.

Always enjoy our visit, the cafe is so nice and we really enjoy our free coffee and nearly always add an extra. Then a wander round with our baby granddaughter enjoying all the Christmas lights.

1 No parking restrictions plenty of areas to park ideal for disabled.
ideal for quick coffee or full meal.
2 Fantastic range of merchandise from Food, clothes, shoes and toys --- like a high street in the country.
3 Great range of plants well attended, watered and looked after. Many bargains to be had.

Love visiting Polehill , good variety of plants 🪴 and the shopping � experience is great .
And we really love the food in the restaurant and the excellent waiting staff.
We visit once a month at least.
Overall a very enjoyable worthwhile visit.

Beautifully laid out and gorgeous high quality items. However, the crowds and coach loads of people made it a really difficult environment to be in. I think that coach parties should be limited to one day per week.
