First Rate Company

Ransom Spares provide a huge range of genuine parts for countless makes and models. Replacement parts are very competitively priced. They provide a first rate service, with goods being delivered very quickly. Any customer support is offered swiftly and always politely. I'd thoroughly recommend this company for all your spares requirements.

Christmas Day oven failure!

Unfortunately our oven gave up the ghost on Christmas Day, fortunately right at the end of cooking Christmas dinner. I jumped on my phone & did a search for a new element. Various retailers came up & Ransom Spares was duly chosen as the winner. The price of a genuine element & some new buttons, plus delivery, was very reasonable & much better than the price to replace the whole oven, which was totally unnecessary, from experience, as I replaced the element in our old oven many years ago.

The parts arrived a few days later & within 30 minutes of opening the parcel we had a fully working oven again! Result!

The part that never arrived

I ordered a part for my dishwasher, and the first time I ordered as a guest, so I can’t track the delivery. I ordered the same item again as a registered user, and my order from December 27 still hasn’t arrived, despite the fact that I’m in London. The lack of a phone number or live chat on the website gives a sense of a scam. I will report this to the relevant legal authorities.

First class service

Excellent website. Easy to search for correct part for our Tumble Dryer. Arrived very quickly. Easy to fit. Works like a treat! Would recommend these guys whenever your white goods break down as much cheaper than calling out specialist engineers - providing the diagnosis is straightforward.

Replacement parts received very quickly

This was one of the few companies whose website made it reasonably easy to find the correct replacement oven element I needed for my Bosch oven.

I paid a bit extra for postage but worth it as I was able to get the replacement ahead of the Xmas break otherwise we would have had no oven to cook the turkey 😳

Great Service Drawer Front Panel Handle for Beko Freezer

What I needed, fits perfectly & a genuine replacement. Also a good price & so very pleased.
Ordered online late Sunday 22nd December at 9pm paid for next day delivery but didn't think I would get it before Christmas day. It was dispatched Mon 23rd & delivered Tues 24th. Thank you.

Neff Fan oven element replacement

Website was easy to navigate, I was confident that the part I ordered would fit, full product dimensions listed and a 'confirm suitability' tab to check by model number. Price was great, delivery as described.
I was very happy with this experience and would recommend and use again.

Saved my dishwasher

I had a crack on the top of my bosch dishwasher casing. Easily sourced the part 20 pounds cheaper than other stores. After watching a YouTube video it went on easily many thanks for saving us the expense of a new one will use again highly recommended.

This company is amazing

This company is amazing. My cooker glass door exploded on the 20th december. I was panicking as I was cooking Christmas dinner, I found the glass and placed the order which said it would be here on the monday. On Saturday morning it arrived! I can't praise them enough for such fast service!

Bosch washing machine door lock and inner trim panel - Pitfalls of ordering near Christmas !!

I purchased two items for my Bosch Washing machine just before Christmas, an electric door lock, then an inner door trim.
The door lock was in stock and was delivered the following day. Unfortunately the lock didn't resolve the issue, so I ordered the inner door trim the next day. I was disappointed not to receive the door trim before Christmas but expected it before the New Year, but it still didnt turn up. In frustration I contacted Ransom Spares Managing Director Charlie Gilbert on 6th January to find out what was happening with my order; I was advised that as the particular item wasnt in stock they had been waiting for it to be delivered from their suppliers (Bosch?), who only worked with a 'skeleton' staff over the Christmas period. Charlie apologised and offered the choice of free upgraded next-day delivery or cancellation and refund of my order, I opted for upgraded delivery and am pleased to say the item has now been delivered. I now have a working washing machine and wish to thank Charlie for dealing swiftly and sympathetically with my query

Placed an order which never turned up

Placed an order which never turned up, emailed them twice with no response, tried calling them{no contact number} so went down there as i live in yeovil.
Told part not in stock so canceled order now waiting for refund.
