Crap service avoid them

We have had rebel energy for a few years but I have been asking for months why my bills are estimated and not read by the smart meters, Rebel said the gas smart meter is faulty and doesn't send any readings and the electric smart meter only sends the odd reading.
I also phoned and emailed quiet a few times and it seems Rebel customer services is useless as when phoned one time I was told they had 2 electric meters on my account but we only have 1 which I sent a photo of.
I kept asking for new smart meters and reminded them of there legal obligations but still it was estimated or I had to take a manual reading. Now I have had enough and moved my energy and Rebel have decided to block it as they have issued a estimated bill and I will not pay it until they take a accurate reading so I am missing out on cheaper energy from my new chosen supplier.
If you have a choice don't use them there customer services are in India somewhere and you can't speak to anyone who can sort things out.

This is my first time with the company

This is my first time with the company, I must say so far the customer service is very good. Had the opponent to interact with Kelsey who was very polite and patient. She was able to set up my account in a timely manner.

Keep receiving bills to my postbox

I keep receiving bills in my postbox with a reference number addressed to “the occupier� of my flat. I contacted support, explaining that I am with another provider and asked them to confirm why they are sending me these bills. I also provided a copy of the letter.

In response, I received a templated answer stating that they cannot proceed with my inquiry because I do not have a registered account with them. I replied, clarifying that I have never had, nor do I plan to have, an account with Rebel. I explained that this is why they cannot find my email address or other details. I also requested that they stop sending me anonymous bills.

However, I received the same templated response again, stating that they cannot find my email address in their system.

It seems the company is pursuing an aggressive strategy to capture market share by sending unsolicited bills to people, hoping they will feel obligated to join Rebel, thinking they have no other choice.

A great experience so far

Been with rebel energy for nearly a year now and I’m hoping I can stay for another year once my new tariff is available. It’s been so easy and Jaydrin was a great help on advice for renewal and refunds.

One thing I love with rebel is the transparency and how their customer service experience goes smoothly when I’m unsure of something.

Great service from Danwill

I had quite a lot of questions about my billing, and Danwill helped me get through all of them quickly and easily, while staying friendly and helpful.

This is my second time using Rebel's customer service helpline, and both times it's been a much better experience than I've had with previous suppliers.

Shaziah helped me to resolve my issue quickly, thank you!

I’m still not sure why I was sent multiple emails regarding an upfront “advance� payment taken by direct debit, which I promptly cancelled through my bank, and a request to submit a meter reading, which is what I prefer).

Very helpful and professional service

Very helpful and professional service. Ashir helped set up my account and direct debit. Very informative. So easy and straight forward. Have been dealing with a lot of different suppliers recently in closing a business and moving into a new home - and this company was without a doubt the most easiest one to deal with - Thank you!

Great efficient experience

I had to barely wait any time at all after the automated message. Lazola was very efficient with finding the issue of the my inability to access the app, and when finding the estimate meter read, made sure that I did not overpay when he saw something incorrect. High appreciated the help and how he looked out for me.
