For the third time I have purchased western red cedar slats 20 x 45mm p.a.r 3.05m lengths from this company for use in garden fencing.

What a lovely company to deal with - prompt friendly attention and dispatch and delivered safely to Cornwall - ordered on Wednesday and delivered following Monday.

Lovely company to do business with. Staff are super helpful and the cedar I purchased is excellent. Delivery costs were combined on 2 orders and was fast. The delivery driver was a gem. I will definitely use Southgate Timber again.

Ordered some cedar cladding. Process was efficient and quick delivery. Product was good quality. Taken off 1 star as the delivery was to the kerb. Would have been nice to have it taken round the back to the garden.

Generally, feedback on our transport team is fantastic our drivers go out of their way to be as helpful as possible and are friendly and courteous. We arrange the delivery the day before and book in a give guide delivery time. Our terms are delivery to kerbside, driveway or a sensible location nearby. We ask drivers not to enter a customer's property or sideway for insurance reasons. We hope to deal with you again soon. Best regards :-)
I definitely recommend Southgate Timber. The process of ordering was easy, delivery notice and care of delivery was very good and the product was faultless. Didn't order more than I needed and didn't need too since the quality of the wood was very good. Now I have a Pergola in my garden made from red cedar and Ayous hardwood that looks awesome!

We bought some Western Red Cedar cladding for our garden room and Southgate Timber were very helpful with our queries before we purchased. The wood is absolutely beautiful, really good quality lengths without many knots/imperfections. We're over the moon with how the final result came out. The delivery was very good too, was quicker than expected and the driver was friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.

Quick to deliver, arrived on time (a little early), in a small truck as requested (narrow lane & tricky turn). Super-helpful driver (sorry I didn't catch his name) who helped me unload it all.

We needed about £10000 worth of cladding for our house extension and having looked online and studied reviews decided to buy Thermo Ayous from Southgate Timber. Being so far away and not being able to look at the wood we had a free sample sent. (Other companies charge!) From ordering to delivery the team were extremely helpful and when a second order was delivered damaged via a courier the wood was replaced within a couple of days. I would highly recommend this company as they didn’t disappoint.
