The main thing is being able to phone…

The main thing is being able to phone and speak to somebody straight away, no waiting for ages like other broadband providers. On the other hand I was expecting to be up n running on day of installation but had to wait a couple of days for router to arrive by post, not a major problem cos I was still connected to old provider

I can't fault the engineers who set…

I can't fault the engineers who set everything up, barring the router. My issue lie with the router, or rather the plug, not being user friendly. I have de quervains syndrome in both hands (similar to carpal tunnel, just it affects the wrist and thumbs). It came as a 2 pin plug, with an exchangeable 3 pin to slide in. The issue was trying to remove the 2 pin slider as there wasn't anything in the manual. Secondly it's a yellow cable and not blue that you sent, but the diagram shows a blue one. I'm tech savy, but it tested my patience. Maybe in future send the router with the engineer to set it up on the spot just like kcom do.

Great customer service from real people!

Been with Squirrel for some time now and always had a wonderful experience when using the online chat. Spoke to Lawrence today, who knew the answers to all my questions, was professional and friendly and a great example of the sort of customer service I've come to expect from this team. Keep up the great work and have a very Happy Christmas & New Year!

Excellent service �

The service from squirrel was excellent. The MS3 engineer who fitted the outside wire and panel was efficient and friendly. I had an issue with receiving the router probably due to the time of year and Lawrence Hayes whom I spoke online with - more than once - was fantastic and ensured that the issue was rectified quickly. Very professional and knowledgeable. I would certainly recommend this company to family and friends.

Not heard of Squirrel but 10/10 brilliant

Not heard of Squirrel but a neighbour had them as a broadband provider and very highly recommended, so along with the recommend a friend scheme we chose them, well, amazing service, picked an install date, great efficient engineers, router came within 2 days, all
Set up and getting amazing high speed 10/10

Installation of broadband and landline phone.

Installation was on time and without mess. The actual router was delivered the next day and was self-installed following clear instructions.
There was a delay in getting the landline telephone up and running but this was due to an error on the part of my previous provider and was investigated and resolved quickly by Squirrel - and a credit was given.

Early days but really great

After being permanently dumped offline without notice by TalkTalk who then claimed it would take weeks to restart service I turned to Squirrel for help - what a difference. Phone number clearly displayed on the website, straight through to a human (in UK), quick to arrange service take over and regular updates. Slight delay in getting back online but not their fault. Customer service & understanding of the situation and what can be done all first-class. That's the benefit of being a smaller set up I suppose but surprised that I'm getting 900mb service cheaper than talktalks 500mb. Keep it up.

Quick and convenient 'chat' facility.

Quick and convenient 'chat' facility for a small issue/question. Lawrence was helpful and courteous, resolving the issue in seconds. A minor issue which could have spiralled; negating unnecessary calls, time and frustration. Great stuff.

Engineer was excellent he explained…

Engineer was excellent he explained everything and also explained about how to connect Internet box when it came.
Internet box came early the next day and with what Engineer went through with me I had it up and running within 15mins.

Incredible

After being messed around by 2 other companies and 6 cancellations later I signed up with Squirrel. Their communication was brilliant and they explained to us why we were having difficulty with the install (wayleave problem) & quickly resolved it. The team is fantastic and we're very happy all round. Thanks to Lawrence, Harrison and Dan (hope I got the names right!)

I was experiencing some connection…

I was experiencing some connection issues, so called the help line and spoke to Harrison. He quickly identified the problem and advised me what to do, which sorted things out in minutes.
Everything has been operating smoothly since then. I am very happy with the support.

Not happy

Not happy, we were told we would get 900 Mbps, plugged in after a fix to get it working properly were getting 25 Mbps. At the time of writing this. I tried the live chat again I was told I was 0 in the que waiting 10 mins and no one answered so gave up, I've tried calling them twice now and no one is answering the phone! So far really not impressed, left talk talk as they where bad. I'm wondering if I've jumped out of the frying pan in to the fire! I read the bad reviews and the responses seem to be a lot of denial, I won't tolerate this, I am a blogger for all companies I visit and use. I may edit this once my issues are resolved.

Excellent service all round.

Very pleased with the service from sales through to install. The Internet connection is fast and stable, and the WiFi coverage is excellent. I couldn't recommend Squirel enough.

Fantastic service from Squirrel

Fantastic service from Squirrel. I changed over from TalkTalk and everything from the Squirrel side of things has gone smoothly. Human customer service too (TT on the other hand...).

Excellent price for 500MB speed and NO price increase during the 24 month contract.
