Excellent customer service

Very quick to sort out a few things. Have been excellent with asking for access for land and tidying up trenches. Always quick and communicative with down time matters which have been minimal. Good local company.

Terrific performance

Our plug unit powering the router got really hot, and the internet became very slow, so I rang Tom and left a message.
One hour and a half later his colleague Jack arrived, knocked on the door, diagnosed the problem, replaced the unit, got our Netflix up and running ( we are useless at tech).
Fantastic service!

Fast response, fast installation, fast fibre

Thought we were condemned to slow broadband (1.5Mbps) in our rural area forever. Was surprised to hear that Technological was installing fibre nearby. Their response to my enquiry was really fast and within a few weeks they had installed the fibre under a road and across several fields to get to us. Fast service, fast broadband, brilliant guys. Can’t recommend them enough.

There amazing!

There amazing! For being in the middle of nowhere they really did come to sort me out, the property was already connected but needed reconnecting, Very fast, And good speeds compared to BT Open reach which are bad, These guys operating a decent company, Thanks!

Brilliant Service

Our line recently went down due to a faulty router power supply. The guys sorted it out within 48-hours and delivered a new one in-person. Could not have asked for a better service. No comparison to BT who would have left us without connectivity for a week or more (base on former experience)!

Great service

Always good signal and swift notification of any problems we have great internet in a very remote location where bt aren't in any rush to get us connected

When we needed to lay a new power cable…

When we needed to lay a new power cable near to the fibre-optic cable, Technological marked it out clearly for our contractor without any fuss. Such a contrast with Openreach and other service owners.

Having moved to an area in North…

Having moved to an area in North Somerset in 2023 with very poor broadband options being offered by the main providers such as BT, Sky etc. Technological have stepped in and filled the gap which for me as I WFH 3 to 4 days a week is a godsend.

So far so good. No complaints.

Great company

I recently moved to a very rural area which I thought lacked in fibre connection. I presumed the only option was Starlink - which was very intermittent during the day and quite expensive! But, Technological came to the rescue with super fast Internet! The team organised a gigabit voucher via the government which was very helpful and saved me an installation fee. After the voucher was received, the team organised an engineer to come out the next day and connect us to their fibre, I was up and running with speedy, reliable Internet that day. The installation was completed to a high standard with the engineer placing the equipment and wires in "hidden" areas, rather than the usual awkward placements other companies tend to do. I would highly recommend this company to everyone. A big thanks to the whole team, particularly Jim and Tom!

Too expensive

There are far more competitive broadband deals around but not for those of us who live in remote rural areas and have no choice but to stay with Technological.
They are not prepared to negotiate on price and there is no reward for loyalty.

Thank you for taking the time to review our services, we're very sorry to hear you are not satisfied with the approach we take on pricing. Unfortunately servicing remote rural areas is expensive (which is why there is little choice) but our pricing has remained unchanged since 2019, you also benefit from a flexible 30day rolling contract.

Alternative providers would lock you to a 24month contract with their introductory special offer as well as annual price increases (in recent years of 10% and 14% per annum). Overall that "competitive deal" has many downsides.

I'm afraid we don't negotiate on pricing but we do try to offer excellent local service, but if you are not satisfied, our 30day contract does mean you are free to look elsewhere at any time.

Very professional staff.

Very professional, pleasant staff. Good responsiveness to breakdowns / problems. My reservation is about router etc. installed equipment. Three equipment breakdowns across two lines over two years seems (I have no direct experience) high.
