I have had so many problems trying to find some Morbier and I got great service and got to speak to this lovely lady and the best cheese ever. Thank you so much 馃馃憤

The service was excellent

The service was excellent - when one item was out of stock temporarily they immediately contacted me offering options. Quality of the products was A-1. I would strongly recommend them and will use the Cheese Lady Co. again. Full marks all round.

Items carefully packaged and arrived in good condition. Friends thoroughly enjoyed the best of British selection and I'm sure I will be purchasing again in the future. Might even drive over to Haddington in person to shop.

What a amazing selection of cheeses!

Having found 36 month old Gouda (sadly not organic and not sure if it was raw either) in Amsterdam, but not being able to have it sent to the UK because of Brexit, I was thrilled to find an even more vintage (raw and organic) 4 year old Gouda thru the Cheese Lady in Scotland. I just love the wonderful choice of totally addictive cheeses. Considering some of the cheeses' rarity and quality, they are very reasonably priced.

Package stolen



I was excited to try The Cheese Lady鈥檚 products, but unfortunately, I never got the chance. My package was delayed by the courier, and when it was finally delivered, it was left carelessly in front of the garage gate鈥攅asy for anyone walking by to steal.

When I contacted the company, they were polite and willing to help but pointed to their terms of service, which state that delivery issues must be reported within a certain time period. Since I reached out after this window, their policy didn鈥檛 allow for any refund or voucher as a resolution.

While I understand their position and appreciate their communication, the experience was disappointing.

I'm sorry to hear about the issue, but I'm puzzled as to why the alleged theft wasn鈥檛 reported to us immediately and directly. Had we been informed promptly, we could have addressed it with the courier and worked to resolve it for you.

Now, with so much time passed and your decision to hold us responsible without giving us the chance to assist, I鈥檓 unsure what you would like us to do at this stage.

Fabulous selection of cheeses

Fabulous selection of cheeses, so many that are not available on the high street. I have ordered many times before and always really impressed with the quality. Delivered on time and packaged beautifully. Especially love the labels which not only have the name but the description too - fantastic touch.

Swiss fondue

We ordered a selection of melting cheese for a fondue party. Appenzell, Raclette and Vacherin. All arrived in tip-top condition and made a fabulous fondue. Fine cheeses, efficient service and friendly advice on which cheese to chose and on wine pairings too. P.S. We had some fondue mix left over which made a wonderful cheese-on-toast for brunch.

As with a previous order

As with a previous order, it was delivered as promised, wrapped and packed perfectly and included an ice block. I have had a taste of all 3 cheeses and they are exactly as stated on the website. I always use The Cheese Lady, as there are a good selection of cheeses and more importantly, some I like very much, but it is very difficult to find someone who sells them. Until I found The Cheese Lady!

Delicious cheeses delivered on date.

Four cheeses are delivered on time each month, all in perfect condition, beautifully wrapped and packaged. The pack includes some unusual biscuits and chutney too.
There is a good selection and often things you wouldn't think of choosing yourself so it's an edible education!

Lovely selection of cheeses

Lovely selection of cheeses. The video was superb, nicely presented and very informative.
I was concerned that the delivery was left on our front doorstep in the sunlight.
The handout about the chesses and possible descriptive words was missing from the package, although that did not spoil our experience.

A Fantastic Cheese Shop!

I FINALLY ventured through the doors at The Cheese Lady (Svetlana and Her Team) and I shall be back, for sure! A wonderful experience overall. The cheese selection was exquisite and I came away with some superb ones. The customer service was second to none and I would encourage everyone to pop in for a 'browse and buy' in this delightful cheese shop!
