Always fresh, lasts twice as long as supermarket produce. No plastic packaging, delivered to your door, always reliable.

Forever a perfect service. I’ve been a customer for years now and never is there ever any issues. Nothing is ever missed and delivery is always when its due or a day early which is great.

I really wish TVGG all the very best of success and will continue to use for years to come.

The produce is always so fresh. You won’t even manage to get supermarket produce to last this long.

I ordered the fruit box and selected satsumas, red apples, a grapefruit, pears, lemons, plums and bananas. I've been reasonably making my way through them this past week and they have not showed signs of spoiling (stored at room temperature) I think it is worth noting how fresh and unbruised the bananas were !
I also got a box of free range eggs. As someone who loves a fried egg in the morning I have been struggling during lockdown - I find supermarket eggs have dramatically decreased in quality. These eggs were lovely !

Great quality produce, far fresher and tastier than I'd get in the supermarket with the added bonus of no plastic. It's also nice to support a local business with such great people.

Really helpful in eating a bit more healthily given how delicious everything is. Choice varies seasonally but what else do you expect? :)

I’ve been shopping with the Very Green Grocer since the beginning and with their commitment to fresh British produce they have challenged me to shop and cook seasonally. I have tried so many vegetables that you normally won’t find in a supermarket. I also love the fact that they are plastic free!

Have just had my delivery this morning and everything so fresh and so much better quality than elsewhere. Looking forward to making lots of tasty dishes. And Brussel Spouts back today. Mike and his lovely family have kept us going over the last year and I couldn't be more grateful (in fact, they've kept us going for many years now). Excellent quality produce delivered with a weekly treat bag of carrots for the dogs is so much appreciated. I couldn't recommend The Very Green Grocer more if you want reliable small local service delivered with a smile.

Lovely fresh produce in the amounts that just 2 of us can manage. We would never have tried uncooked beetroot as the bunches in supermarket were too big for us. Having got it in our box we now love it and enjoy it regularly. The quality of the boxes is always of the best and “big Mike� always has a cheery few words for us.

I have recently moved to Plumstead and having previously used box schemes decided to try the locally well reviewed Very Green Grocer. I was not disappointed. A great selection of fruit and veg delivered free and not one piece of single use plastic. Bravo. I will definitely be using in the future.

The fruit and veg are packed using cardboard and brown paper. They are really fresh and of a high quality and last much longer than those from supermarkets.. I highly recommend this reliable family run company.

Lovely fresh produce, locally sourced and seasonal variety. Also the selection of fresh herbs is excellent and they look so much more inviting than those you buy in the supermarket. Really like that you guys have moved to get rid of single use plastics. Great company! Great products!

We have been using the Very Green Grocer for a number of years now and I can 100% recommend them! The fruit and veg is always so fresh and much nicer than the supermarket. The fruit is all top quality, great produce. Deliveries have always been spot on, as has customer service. They even leave a chew for our dog which is above and beyond!
