loss of internet and landline…

We had a loss of internet and landline for 24 hours due to a power cut.
Jagraj was able to reset the connection between our ONT box and router that had failed digitally as a result of the power cut.
The problem was fixed within 30 minutes even though it seemed to be technically complicated.

This was my first attempt at getting…

This was my first attempt at getting broadband voneus was recommended to me by my neighbour, my phone call and application was delt with expertly by Daniel Adda. Many thanks Bob.

Luis was a star

I had a problem with poor signal for devices remote from the router. Also, my linked phones were not working. It took nearly two weeks before I could get anyone technical to call me.

Today Luis called me and we eventually got to the root of the problem. Basically, the lights on the front of the router - labelled WLA2.4G and WLAN5G need to be illuminated. If they aren't then you get the problem I was experiencing

Excellent service and good outcome

We have been with Voneus for several years now and have always received excellent service.
I had to call them today after our fibre broadband developed a fault.
Saima at their call centre helped me get the system up and running again.
She was very patient and obviously very experienced in enabling me to get on line again.
Well done, keep up the good work.

Slow speeds, consistent outages, poor service

Since Voneus bought our old supplier, the service that we have received has been extremely poor. Speeds on good days are considerably slower. There have been numerous outages since we have been with Voneus. The latest has lasted for some 10 days, with very few updates, and poor customer service. Prior to the outage, the internet was consistently dropping out for several weeks prior. Voneus has refused a manager callback.
If I could give them zero stars I would. I would not recommend them.

Commercial & Operations are connected!

In my experience of dealing with utilities (BT, NPower, BGas to name a few) it is rare for the commercial side of the business to be so well connected to the operational side. Well done Voneus for excellent customer service in this past few weeks. It was an 18 month wait for service, but I recognise that it's a complex service to deliver; and now installed - we are enjoying excellent broadband speed and the customer care has been exceptional

Broadband good but no access to voip extras.

Broadband has been very good so far and the voip phone works but there is no app or website to make use of the claimed extra features.

Customer service is ABYSMAL

Customer service is ABYSMAL!
As soon as we moved our broadband to Venous they became almost impossible to contact. We've had countless promises of call backs with no results. Emailed them many times, then get fobbed off. Won't send us our invoices for the monthly payments unless we email and request them, but I've emailed twice for the last 3 months worth of invoices and no answer. No inter-company department communication available. When I've sent complaints in through their official complaints email I get a ratty, defensive response. It feels like Voneus's entire workforce are individuals working from home, on mobile phones, who have not been given enough training and who have no main hub from which to share/log information. There is no option to get an online account, so no way of monitoring your own expenses, historic payments or usage. Every time we get through to someone we have to explain our circumstances all over again, only to be promised a call back from someone else which never occurs. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!!

Internet Down for 28 days

28 days to restore a connection, had to ring everyday to chase them. Worst customer service and tech support I have ever dealt with. Unable to get a supervisor to take control of the issue and was not once given an update on what the problem was or when it would be rectified. Repeatedly lied to and promised a call back by multiple agents, this company are not worth getting involved with they are complete amateurs pretending to run a network.

Luis within the Technical Team 5*!

Luis within the Technical Team was very helpful while resolving my issues. He was very professional, patient and respectful throughout the whole experience. Asset to your team. General customer care feedback; I had an issue which had been ongoing for a month leaving me without WiFi, without Luis I think this would still be an issue!

Great Engineers, excellent experience.

Our appointment for install was on Christmas Eve this week, between 8am and 1pm. The engineers turned up promptly at 8 and assessed the job. It was not an easy install but that did not stop them. After working out the best solution they got on with the job and completed it without any issue, leaving us with fully functioning fibre to the property WiFi. Dave, Gavin and Kristoff were very professional, friendly and knew exactly what needed to be done. I was very pleased with the overall install and the team that did the work.

The process of signing up was very…

The process of signing up was very straightforward and was followed up swiftly by the installation. The engineers arrived at the time Voneus told us they were due and were very careful and thorough. Getting the cable through the house wall was challenging as they are 4 feet thick but the engineers did a superb job.

Excellent Voneus Broadband

I have had Voneus Broadband for a couple of months - replacing NOW copper broadband at 27 Meg which was not reliable and regularly dropped.

Installation was good - two guys and around three hours - sinking duct in the back of flowerbeds and across driveway into house.

Connected and had 500 Meg plus download and 500 Meg upload instantly - Have coverage throughout the house - drops to around 250 Meg at furthest point from router.

About two weeks later my landline was transferred to VOIP with no issues - clear line and kept my original land line number - and my NOW account was closed - all arranged by Voneus.

So far no issues with service - broadband is constant and has never dropped.

Very pleased I made decision to move.

Mixture of incompetence and contempt for customers

My rural broadband connection (and that of most of my neighbours) has been down for almost a week.
There is no specific update regarding our postcode area on the service status page, and there has been no communication from Voneus to update us, apologise and give a reasonable date for resolution. There has been no offer of a refund.
I’ve exceeded my mobile data allowance and had to change my contract to make up for lack of broadband. My neighbours cannot work remotely.
This follows a couple of days outage in December as well, and unreliable slow and patchy service.
Customer service is absolutely pathetic.
Voneus cannot keep treating customers like this if it wants to make money and attract new customers.
If there is any alternative option at all for customers, it’s almost certainly likely to be better than anything Voneus offers.
One star is flattering - stay the hell away!
