Difficult to get product support

Apple.com seems ok so long as the product you receive is not defective and you don't need any support. When I bought directly from their site, shipping was very slow but it was also free.

My problem started last week when I received an apple pencil (from the Apple Store on Amazon) that has battery and charging issues. Support on Apple.com said there was a 2 minute wait for live chat but I waited and no representative showed up. I can't wait any longer today so I'll have to use a pencil with a possibly dying battery for now. This is incredibly inconvenient because I had just received the item and I don't have time to drive to the UPS store to mail in returns. Dealing with this issue is costing a lot of time from work (including hours spent trying to charge a finicky pencil).

I regret my recent Apple purchases

I want to like Apple, I do. But recently, a few things made me wonder if I should switch to different companies…

Mainly:
- I bought new AirPods (newest model) and the mic was bad from the start. My friends noticed in vms and calls and asked me why all of a sudden they can barely hear me. Then the battery also started to act weird. Sometimes my AirPods charge, sometimes they don’t. Made me wonder what I bought those AirPods for and I regretted the purchase.
- I am currently in a country where due to my visa I cannot get a bank account right now. Because of that I cannot use the local apps as Apple doesn’t let me change the region in the AppStore to the country I reside in. Again, I asked myself why I bought an iPhone instead of something more flexible where I can download the apps from the country I reside in… I reached out to Apple support but they told me I cannot switch countries.

Great iPad

Great iPad! Used it all my life with no problems - only battery replaced recently. It's funny how bad the reviews are when so many people have apple devices! 😂 I guess you sort of only review when something bad happens. Apple's so big that they havent even claimed their trustpilot account!!!

GRRRRR

I left my phone on the train, so I tried to sign in on my mums iPhone, the Ui is pretty that's about it, it is slow and the way to back out of an application is nonflexible and difficult. If you want to look like someone who is 73 working a windows XP then buy an apple product. I cannot sign into my account and i have to wait 2 weeks before I can do that. Probably because that is how long some old idiot with an iPhone checks their emails. So, I cannot download a single app to say, buy a train ticket or retrieve a message on WhatsApp. BOO HOO

Apple always interrupts your phone call…

Apple always interrupts your phone call that you have on your Bluetooth and tries to change it to headphones. They’ve gotta get that right. If you’re talking on the phone through your Bluetooth on your vehicle and you are perfectly happy it shouldn’t be trying to switch it to headphones. Also every update Apple tries to do to correct their atrocious voice to text just makes it worse. They keep putting in punctuation that has no business belonging there. Just let people put in punctuation where they want it and stop making it so damn difficult.

Apple TV subscription was billed to me…without any consent

Apple TV subscription was billed to me without any action from my side or my family, No apple confirmation email was receiived about any subscription, It seems that a trial period was silenty transformed in a recurrent Apple TV subscription.
Impossible to refund the first month, even after contacting the apple support (day 1 of the bill, paid upfront).
Shame on them, and their commercial abuse.
You can count on me, to make a good advertisement, on your commercial practice....

Apples unhackable products

These people are brilliant if you have the most perfect life. However, if you don’t have a perfect life, and you always getting hacked or bullied online don’t let Apple fool you into getting an iPhone bc it’s unhackable. I beg to differ, and I know from experience that’s it’s just as bad if not worse then being hacked on android. My hacker has destroyed my life, and I couldn’t get any help from Apple as to who was hacking me. If the Find My is off on your device or your hacker turned it off you can forget getting any help from them on where your device may be at. I couldn’t even get them to tell me if my other Apple device was hacking me when it went missing. Needless to say my other device is still missing, and my hacker is slowly destroying my life. It’s the worst thing that could ever happen to anyone. I wouldn’t wish it on my worst enemy, bc you will not get any help from Apple or the police if this were to happen to you. Apple is brilliant, beautiful, people, but they will only help you with an Apple product after it has been hacked, and that’s just to solely fix the product back to the way it was. Sadly, I think this is a problem that Apple is going to feel all over the world as our world continues to take shape. As for me, I’m opting for a text only phone now. I’ll make my own peace of mind by getting rid of Apple and android all together and opting for old school.

I booked my iPhone in at the Apple…

I booked my iPhone in at the Apple Store Trafford centre uk for a new battery . I arrived a little early and asked if they could move time forward.? They said yes and went through the process of booking it in and the cost etc . I was satisfied with all this and they said they would text when repair was complete. I returned at the correct time and was told they had also replaced the screen for the same quoted price for a battery . Iam. Extremely happy with the results. Would recommend to all perfect in every way.

Ending Apple experience

Needed apple support for the first time ever while I was abroad and it was really disappointing. The service does not work if you are on holiday and need assistance and I can say now that apple is good at selling but really bad at support. I always thought I was paying for a service but clearly apple is not worth it anymore.

AirPod Pro validated defective with recall but not honored

I bought a pair of AirPods Pro’s a little over a year ago (13-14 months ago). They worked great for along time ( 8-10 months )but at some point people I would be on the phone and someone would complain of constant static . The static just got worse and worse and then one of the speakers started rattling .

I went to my local Apple Store . They did a diagnostic on than said that 2 microphones were bad as well as one of the speakers . They also told me that these had a recall ( but I was never informed or saw news about a recall ) . The person I was speaking with told me there was nothing they could do . I asked to speak to a manager , the manager said they were aware of the product defect hence the recall but that the recall period had ended .

I buy Apple products because I feel like they’re quality built and that they’ll stand behind that quality . Why sell a quality product once when you can make multiple sells due to defective products .

7 day delivery was quoted in the confirming eMail.
Tried to cancel as I can get it £50 cheaper and next day delivery off Amazon.
Failed to accept cancellation, totally inflexible systems in place for online purchases.
Buy from Amazon.

Disappointed

In October 2023 I bought my then 5 year old son his first i-pad for Christmas
By the following November I called apple support to report the battery wasn’t lasting very long.
Apple then carried out a diagnostics on it to find that the battery was faulty.
I was quoted £100 to fix it
I raised a complaint as I did feel it was fair as my son hadn't even been using it for a year as he opened it for Christmas.
Apple agreed to fix it out of the warranty period which I thought was fair.
I sent the iPad of for repair in the packaging provided in good repair.
When I received it back there was a not saying they could not fix it as there was a crack on the screen. I call apple straight away to strongly detest this was the case when I sent the iPad back.
Unfortunately I have not been believed on 2 occasions and ruled out it has happened by UPS or apple repairs.
I am really annoyed and upset that I haven’t be believed and my 6 year old has been left with a faulty iPad and now a cracked screen .
He was excited when his iPad returned but was quickly in floods of tears when he knew it hadn’t been fixed and now damaged further.
I have tried to detest this decision twice with apple now but come to the realisation there is nothing they are going to do for me and my son.
Extremely disappointed with a company who be a loyal customer with for over 25 years.

Wasted Apple Store trip

I booked an appointment online at my nearest Apple Store in Brighton with a request for technical help as I was having battery problems with my iPhone SE (original model). At the store I was told they were not allowed to help me as the phone is now classified as "vintage". Apple know exactly which phone I have as I have an account, they even checked it remotely. So why did they accept the booking and let me make a 40 minute train trip to Brighton if they already know they won't be providing any service? Are they hoping I will buy a new phone once they get me in the store?

This what apple looks like

Samsung Hawaui and some others so much better than apple. It's just lost money do not deal with apple at all. Make u tired given you mental condition for longer than u think.
Get away from them as u can. Be for to late befor even you want u can't steps away. Its worth. Waste time. Washing money gets sick. Do not let they use u as they want. Do not let them empty your pocket. They are a big thife ever. Don't believe advertising because it's Washing ur brain so remember if it's happened then. You are just empty . I hope i given some good advice. I hope you get away frome what want use u. This not about i hate them. No I don't. But this only truth as many of others knows what I said thanks best wishes to all

Disappointing Support for iPhone 15 Pro Battery Issue

I’ve had a frustrating experience with Apple support over several months regarding the iPhone 15 Pro’s battery. Despite the battery capacity showing 91% and the phone not being overused, the battery drains rapidly. I called Apple Support five times, visited the Apple Store a couple of times, and was passed between three senior advisors and engineering, all without a resolution.
The issue persisted while the phone was under warranty, yet no proper fix was offered. Now that the warranty has lapsed, I’m left with a device that doesn’t perform as it should. I expected better service and accountability from Apple, especially given their premium pricing and reputation. This experience has been extremely disappointing, and I’ll think twice before investing in another Apple product.

Such poor customer service approach. The

Terrible experience with a purchase from
Apple. Purchased 2 Apple Pro pencils and unfortunately I purchased the incorrect ones that are not compatible with our devices. Took them back to the shop to exchange and was very abruptly told that the returns policy is only 14 days. Now I’m £280 down….

Apple tech is one of the most loved by people around the world as their personal and even business gadgets because of it advance inventions and its features and innovations which are very useful and convenient for all it's users. Just by the look, the design is more enticing than other brand. You'll just love the package as a whole.

I've had an Apple iPhone for 3 years…and its' still awful

I've had an Apple iPhone for 3 years now - I hate it with every fibre of my being. I have just bought Aerosmith's greatest hits. At the same time I have bought a new laptop - so had to re-install iTunes. Just getting music files onto my phone is convoluted beyond belief - and iTunes has actually deleted all my existing music files. Now Android is just drag and drop - treating your phone like a hard drive. Everything on iPhones is complex, monetised and poor. What a dreadful product - and what utter distain for their customers to inflict this level of control on how they use their products. I wish I could describe in words just how angry and disappointed I am with this Apple product.
