At first the price was reasonable, but 12 months on the price is far too high. Unfortunately you like many other companies don’t look after the people who have been with you. There should be discounts not inflated prices.

Looking into your original policy, I can see that you added cruise cover onto the policy part way through the policy.
Your renewal policy will mirror the latest version of your policy and the additional cover that was added for a portion of your original policy, is in place for the entire duration of your renewal policy which will have a reflection on the price. This along with many other factors will contribute to the increase in the cost of your policy.

Couldn’t understand a couple of the people’s accent that I spoke to, and also I had to ask them to slow down a few times , because they talk too fast. Also I could hear other people in the background talking and had to tell the ladie I was talking to twice about it ,

Making a change to a renewal quote for holiday insurance was not as simple as it could have been however we got there in the end. The operator I dealt with was polite and patient. I will continue to use Avanti for future travel

I have now bought Travel Insurance from Avanti for several holidays following a recommendation from a friend. The first purchase was for a trip to Canada and we were impressed with the cost and related cover. Subsequent policy costs have been competitive and the agent minimised the Q&A noting the information received previously. My latest contact was onerous and ambiguous. Please note this is not a criticism of the agent as the person was clearly working from a script. In addition I felt the cost of the policy was excessive although the cover appeared ok. A surprisingly disappointing experience.

An average sales call can last approximately 20 minutes whilst we look to ascertain your requirements for your travel plans. Sometimes this can be a little longer if multiple quote options are given or if we need to clarify any information further such as medical circumstances.
