If I could give minus 5 stars then I…

If I could give minus 5 stars then I would. This company are liars. Sent my phone to them, they denied they had received it.
Proved to them they had then stated they would pay within 3 to 5 working days ( their website site says they pay in 3 working days).
Still nothing after time elapsed but then get an email saying it will be another 3 to 5 working days. Guess what, nothing paid so chased. Apparently there was a banking error so going to be another 3 to 5 working days. They've had my phone since 19th December and are now not even responding to emails.

Never Receive Your Promotional Payment.

Like every other review on here, they entice you in with these promotional payments but you will never receive it. My first trade in pack didn't arrive so i had to start a new trade in process to receive another, i have email confirmation that my first orders promotional payment will be honoured. 4 Months down the line I'm still no closer to receiving my promotional payment as they're claiming there isn't a promotional payment tied to my order despite telling me my original one would be honoured. They've now just resorted to ignoring my emails. I advice everyone to look elsewhere, its not worth the hastle.

Cannot get the offers instore as…

Cannot get the offers instore as advertised online. Went into 2 stores for the Pixel 9 Pro XL offers online, they are more expensive and staff cannot apply online discount codes even though it says they can online.

Worst Customers service

I contacted Carphone Warehouse (on 02/01/2025) and made a request to unlock my phone as its currently locked to only work with Vodafone sims. They have confirmed to me that they send the request to Vodafone and it will be fulfilled in 3 days. However, after three days my phone stopped working. After several phone calls with Vodafone that I have found out that the Carphone Warehouse has made a request to Block and blacklist the phone instead of unlocking. I am now still waiting with Vodafone to fix the issue.

Misleading and poor customer service

Update - despite the reply from Carphone Warehouse and doing what they have asked, still nothing.
My advice, don't use this company.

Upgraded our sons phone through Carphone Warehouse.
Was offered 60 for the handset and then an additional 100 as an incentive to upgrade to a better Samsung.
We were then told after the phone was inspected (it was working fine) that we would only get 3 pounds for it.
Not happy of course so emailed to ask for either the phone back or the incentive amount to be paid.
The 3 pounds was paid and no sign, after 2 months of the 100 pounds incentive.
Customer service appalling, after 4 phone calls still nothing. Customer Service is not based in the UK.
Went into a store in Currys, was told that they can't help, they aren't Carphone Warehouse and can't help.
Really disappointed and won't be ever using Carphone Warehouse again.

Stealing Money part 2

Following up to my recent issue. Despite being promised to refund all my money. It has been a couple of weeks, and no refund. Each time I call up asking where my refund is, the customer service are blaming each other on who took me phone call and saying "they forgot to do it".

Still yet to see my money. However, receiving emails and messages asking me to delete my reviews.

Richard was absolutely fabulous

Richard was absolutely fabulous, went above and beyond. Sorted everything out so fast. No hassle no communication barriers. The whole experience was fab from the minute the phone call started until the end. You need more staff like RICHARD!:) x

Purchased a Contract from Carphone…

Purchased a Contract from Carphone warehouse which came with a free gift. Upon receiving said gift, I noticed the item was faulty. The following day I went to a carphone warehouse store by my workplace, they were unhelpful so I went back to the store I took the contracts out with. I was told they don't deal with anything other than sales on Black Friday and to come back on Tuesday, as they wouldn't be able to hep cyber Monday either. Come Tuesday, I spoke to a staff member who advised the only thing I could do was return the contract as they couldn't process the item as faulty on the system. I told the staff member everything had already been transferred over to my new phone so wouldn't be possible. He said he would get someone to call me with a solution. I was never contacted, so went back into store the following week and spoke to the manager who was only willing to book it in for repair. When I refused the repair as I am in my rights to an exchange, he made false allegations regarding legal policies, was extremely condescending. I left and contacted customer service online, who abused they only deal with online deals. I got another number to contact, and I was told someone would contact me in the next 72 hrs - i was never contacted. I called again, to be told I would be contacted once again in 72 hrs, which I was however he informed me he was a curry's member and not carphone so couldn't access my account. He did transfer to another department, who said he would try and get this resolved and to wait for a call back in 72hrs. This was 3 weeks ago and I am still waiting for said call. I have since called to try and chase it myself, and was told the number does not deal with instore purchases.
Nobody wants to help resolve this issue. I am being passed from pillar to post and it's becoming really stressful and time consuming.

Phone contract update

I recently had a call from Peter about my phone contract ending. He was super clear, really helpful, and took the time to understand what I needed.
