Extremely helpful Curry's staff

Extremely helpful Curry's staff , knowledgeable and willing to advise without pressure to buy. Extensive range of products and value for money without having to break the bank for quality. Not the first time I have shopped with Curry's and certainly won't be the last time either.

Tv order

Had to replace a white goods item which …

Had to replace a white goods item which had to be an exact fit to slot in kitchen. Had no problem finding one at Curry's, ordering and delivery was within days. Very satisfactory purchase.

a good store

the staff at currys pc world had the knowledge, but it did take some time to get their attention as they were standing around talking.

they had a selection of laptops but most had small ssd drives and not enough ram for what i needed it for (mostly 2in1 laptops and google book laptops around my price) so i did end up paying a little more than i intended by around 25%.

Spoke to a Curry's representative on …

Spoke to a Curry's representative on Friday afternoon to obtain the 'price match' that they boast about on their web site for a Bosch microwave that I wished to purchase. He said a member of their sales team would 'phone me soon to trigger this and take my order. A full 24 hours later I've still not heard from anybody and have just ordered from another company. A very, very poor show from Curry's and I'll never use them again.

Delivery ok but could not install new …

Delivery ok but could not install new washing machine because of a technical problem and could not therefore remove and recycle old washing machine. Delivery driver said he would contact store to refund installation charge plus recycling charge totalling £40. That was 21 May 2017. Still waiting for refund. Not likely to buy anything else from Curry's until I receive the £40.

Curry's review

Staff in shop were very helpful . My washing machine was delivered for free within 3 days . It would have been sooner had it not been a bank holiday monday . Delivery drivers were on time and very nice and helpful

Great...easy to shop

I have never had any issues and have only positive experiences. Having flexible credit and a buy now pay in six months option is great. I needed a new tv, bought it on finance on Saturday night....it was delivered Sunday afternoon....so handy. I'm happy with my purchase and would recommend.. ..in fact a friend did just that, he opened an account and got himself a couple of items too. 🖒

Item ordered online

Item ordered online, but was not available when promised. Staff tried to resolve the issue. Eventually item was delivered but a fault meant it had to be returned and there was no replacement readily available. The attitude of the female assistant was very good as she tried to resolve our problem. The stars are for her assistance. Very disappointed that the item was not delivered to the store at the date and time stated. Currys PC World has a monopoly and can treat customers badly with little fear of bad reviews should it so desire.

From bad to Good!

Last purchase and delivery was an apalling mess. Today's was a completely different experience. Item ordered Monday, delivered and installed with no problem. A very pleasant surprise.

Today I took my student daughter to …Kingsway Derby

Today I took my student daughter to collect a fitbit she had tried to order on line. She couldn't pay for the item online as the site would not let her, however, someone online said she could order it and pay in store. It was on offer and she had got extra discount, the person online said to just tell the store and she would still get the discount. I took her to Kingsway, Derby store where the manager said no it could not be done. The manager did not even have the courtesy to speak to us but communicated through a member of staff, who shrugged shoulders. So for the sake of ten pounds this store has lost thousands in future sales from me. I recently bought three laptops from there for my daughters and bought all my electrical goods from this store in the past but definetly will not be in the future. 1st June update on the above review. The online staff have honoured the original price. Such a contrast between the local store manager's attitude and staff online. If only we had been treated in store with the efficient, polite professional manner that the online staff accorded us. So we are not as disappointed with the service in fact they have gone up in my estimation the stars are for the service we received on line not in store.

Pleasant purchasing experience

Ably attended by friendly, attentive and knowledgeable staff. No pressure to purchase a particular product - impartial advice given. Delivery was prompt and we were kept informed of ETA . Installation was hassle free and a demonstration was given and questions answered. An excellent experience from Start to Finish - thank you Blackburn, Whitebirk Drive Branch.
