Danielle and Dermott at the Blackburn…

Danielle and Dermott at the Blackburn store are a credit to the company. I went into store to exchange a lightshade (Baldaz) as one of the shades had cracked. Danielle took all of 5 minutes to ensure I had a new shade (not cracked). The customer service and efficiency was 10/10, and I really appreciate all the help! Would recommend them to anyone.

I continually get emails about offer…

I continually get emails about offer vouchers, which are NEVER actually redeemable unless you spend a certain amount or get there before a certain date, WHY?
It makes me feel conned & determined to buy my goods elsewhere. Why not do a card system like other places, Boots, Tesco, Sainsbury’s, certainly makes folk go back there.

B n Q in IOM is wonderful

B n Q in IOM is wonderful. All the staff are super-helpful and polite, they go out of their way to help you find the things you need in the store, and readily exchange or refund any erroneous purchase that you may have made. The prices are also good for many items in comparison with some other local suppliers.

Absolutely awful service

Absolutely awful service. Six weeks and I'm still waiting for my refund. I have to phone them constantly, explain the situation again and I get told something different every time. Whatever you do, don't book online, go to a store (and after this, I wouldn't even recommend that). I've never come across such appalling customer service.

Avoid purchasing anything on B&Q website

Online/Website customer services are absolutely useless. Based in India and have no authorisation other than reading a script.
I bought a mattress online, a year later it’s faulty and completely unusable. Tried to claim guarantee but every time I speak to customer services I get told someone will reply within 24hours which nobody has for 3 weeks now!

Get it together!! Never ordering from B&Q website again. In store they’re very helpful.

I bought kitchen units from their…

I bought kitchen units from their online verified seller. The larder unit was missing a door. I’ve spent 2 months trying to resolve this. No response to emails or contact forms and 7 telephone calls to customer support but I’m just getting ignored. My next step is legal action. Such poor service from such a big company.

Telephone contact with Customer…

Telephone contact with Customer Services established that they only deal with online purchases. I was sent back to store to discuss my issue…who also said they couldn’t help - all in all I was given the run around when someone could just have said they couldn’t help in the first place.

Poor stock in branch.

Our local store (Redditch), although it is quite a large branch, rarely has what I want in stock. If you order for delivery and pay delivery costs, the order goes to a third party, independent company. I suggest if you can't find what you want elsewhere and are prepared to wait, go directly to B&Q's supplier which is usually given. It will probably be cheaper.

Shocking experience

Shocking experience! No accountability with the escalation team who blame their VERIFIED sellers and delivery company for 'non' delivery! Sofa bed ordered in Dec never arrived! Seller just kept fobbing me off! It took a lot of hassle to get a refund!

B&Q is our go to for DIY

We often use B&Q it’s our go to shop for DIY, paints, etc, the staff are aways so helpful, they go out of there way to help solve a diy problem we might encounter �

B&Q Excellent Service

Earlier today (13/1/25) I phoned B&Q Cwmbran store on their Trade number, as despite numerous attempts I couldn't find the item I was looking for online. The gentleman who answered, Darren, was so very helpful, that I thought he deserved a big thank you and a shoutout. My product was found and ordered.

Good customer service from the floor

With the exception of following a cavalcade of tractors into the B&Q Reading car park as part of the government protest, the experience was great. All of the items I required were in stock. A very helpful employee was able to assist the exact location, once I had identified the aisle from the app. Another great employee was able to cut up my plywood to the correct size. The only part that could have been improved was the till area, I had a trolley full of goods and had to find someone to assist me going through the self service till. It would have been much better with a sales assistant on the till. Thanks

Sandra is a godsend in the Paints…

Sandra is a godsend in the Paints department! I visited Dover store on Jan 15th afternoon. I was approached by a helpful lady, Sandra if I needed help. I certainly did! I had already bought paint the day before and the colour choice was wrong. I explained what I needed and my vision and she helped me with options and between we came to a decision. So kind and treated me with great respect. Thank you Sandra

Irritable driver

The delivery was scheduled for Monday 6th January but you postponed until 13th January.
Your delivery driver was irritable and complained about access along the lane and the inability to turn around his vehicle. I told him that we had had a removal van that was much larger than his vehicle and they had no problems with access or reversing out. Your driver needs training on how to deal pleasantly with customers instead of being a moaning jobsworth.

Ordered furniture on line

Ordered furniture on line, store pick up not available. DX courier service advised delivery on the 10th Jan even provided deliverytime....unfortunately goods did not arrive. Now B&Q are not taking any responsibility in locating my goods which B&Q have been paid. Appalling customer service would think twice about using them again for bulky items.

Leon at Inverness great service

Visited the Inverness store earlier today to get a design and quote for a new bathroom. Leon was with a customer but when he was free I gave him sizes of room and within a couple of hours he emailed me a fantastic design and a great price.which included some amazing features.
Great service from this young man a credit to B&Q.
I will be back in to place my order this week

Really bad experience

Really bad experience, I ordered from the B&Q website from a verified seller and the item never arrived. After a month of trying to contact the seller and multiple contact to B&Q I am no further to getting my order or money back. I am shocked at the customer support from B&Q and unfortunately won’t be ordering again.

If I could give zero stars

If I could give zero stars, I would... absolutely useless company for deliveries... I ordered on 8th December to be delivered in 4-5 working days...I'm still waiting and customer service is also useless...avoid this company like the plague...
