This was the first time I had cast and considering I took the kit to the hospital and set it up in the floor with electric whisk so not the best environment.
I am so happy with the result and can’t that you enough.

Purchased a casting kit for my husbands 60th. I ordered in plenty of time and delivery was very fast . I was a little apprehensive but the instructions were easy to follow and the cast came out beautiful. I have already recommended this to my sister in law.

Speedy delivery. I wanted a casting of my elderly dad and my hand. My dad is 93 and has dementia. It was difficult getting him to keep his hand still. The end result was far from perfect, but this was due to the challenge of the world of dementia. Nevertheless I will still treasure it always

Absolutely loved doing this with my partner for his birthday. That one object is now filled with amazing memories as we made it tucked away in the countryside in a log cabin which will last a lifetime. Easy instructions and the big reveal at the end is just amazing. I’d recommend this to anyone to use

I have been contacted by the company after my review and was provided with New Aliginate free of charge �......we can only say thank you to gving us a second chance 😊 Bought for a special birthday... Read instructions and my partner is a stickler for doing things to the letter but everything done as said and by the time we brought the bucket to the floor we never even got our hands in it had set far to quick so not recommended 😡 it was a lot of money as I bought the 3/4 person one when I emailed I was just told to reread instructions and that replacement products could be BOUGHT online to retry 🤔 I THINK NOT !!!! & WHEN IT HAPPENS AGAIN AS I PREDICT IT WILL AS WE DONE 1ST ONE TO THE LETTER ...very disappointing 😞

My beautiful mum has dementia, it is known as the long goodbye and it really is. When the handcasting kit came up on my Facebook page I immediately thought what a great way to always have her with me even when this awful disease finally steals her away. I didn't anticipate how emotional it would be when our cast was revealed. Thank you so much for this wonderful product. My mum and I will now forever hold each others hand.

5* plus plus plus. A kit purchased for Christmas opened Christmas morning and the moulding bucket was broken. So an email sent straight away. Answered as soon as business reopened after the holidays apologising. Replacement bucket received today. Amazing customer service.

The video links were really helpful. We did the moulding for my Aunt and Uncle as my Uncle is not well. The reassurance that I could order more alginate if needed meant the whole process was fun and not pressured. As it was, the cast came out far better than I anticipated. There are a couple of slight imperfections but nothing serious and we all quite like the fact that its not 'perfect'....it reflects the fun we had doing it and life isn't perfect :-)

Item arrived 48 hrs after order was placed (which was done late at night). Was a 21st birthday present, opened with delight by the recipient day after it arrived only to find the glass dome was broken. Contacted ECS later that day and received a reply advising they would dispatch a replacement dome. ECS also asked if I wanted the replacement sent to another address (as it was given as a gift).
Excellent customer service and am very happy to recommend this seller to anyone looking for an unusual gift that will have meaning long after the birthday date.

We are very pleased with our purchase, it arrived earlier than first scheduled and we were kept informed of delivery details so we knew to the hour when it would arrive. The casting kit instructions were clear and we watched the videos before starting to use the casting kit. We are so pleased with the result! It was easy to make and once completely dried we can't wait to have it on display.

The whole experience from start to finish was amazing.
The team at Edinburgh Casting Studio are absolutely First Class
It was a fun, messy thing to do, yet such a serious thing to do.
Our casting by no means was a perfect cast... After leaving it to dry out, it was covered in little balls and a bit of mould, and my ring didn't look like a ring ! but, it was sent off to the Studio for the skilled experts to craft their magic and they did not disappoint. It was beautiful. It was well worth the money to have this service.
The Edinburgh Casting Studio always replied promptly to emails and offered advice, they couldn't have been more helpful.

I ordered a family set and a couples set for my Mam’s 80th Birthday. She is disabled, suffers with chronic arthritis and is on oxygen 24/7 so it was no mean feat managing to get the right position for her in her riser chair. We managed and were really disappointed to see that the alginate hadn’t taken a clear cast. We followed the instructions and watched many tutorials but there was absolutely no point in wasting the stone mix. I messaged asking if there was a chance we could have more alginate. This was a week ago and I have had no reply yet when I messaged asking a question before placing my order of over £100 they got back to me straight away.
