This is not the first time

This is not the first time , web site , says things in stock , then after I have ordered , suddenly not in stock , and if I order three of the same , but you have one in stock , you hold the whole order up for weeks , instead of just sending one out , then the rest later .

Disappointing experience in returning…

Disappointing experience in returning faulty product August/September 2024:
I ordered a Draper Plunge Saw for a special birthday gift. It arrived very quickly but unfortunately the box was badly damaged. It was in no state to present as a gift and I was also concerned that the contents may be damaged, faulty or incomplete.
I therefore contacted FFX to organise a return and replacement. The process for doing this should have been straightforward but it was not and it was another 14 days before the saw was eventually picked-up.
I was told that a replacement saw would be sent as soon as the returned item was received but when I chased progress, after a further 4 days, I was told that the returned item had been 'lost in transit' and that there were now no replacement saws in stock.
Overall, a very unsatisfactory and time-consuming experience which left me frustrated and with very little time to organise a replacement gift. The only mitigation being the pleasant attitude displayed by the contact centre staff.

No 1 answers the phone I need a refund

Ordered a multi tool on wensday. On your web site it said dilvery would be thursday. So I ordered it as i need it on friday as i was working away.
Got a royal mail track number tryied tracking but would let me received a email that dilivery would be 12.05 to 4.05pm so my wife took time of work to recive the parcel. Waited till 4.05 no dilivery then received a email saying it would be befor 7.30pm so she waited all day then at 7.30 received a email saying royal mail tried to dilver but no one was home. Which is a lie.
I left to work away and royal mail diliverd on Friday at around 4.30 so through my ring doorbell I told the driver send it back as no 1 is at home to receive. Tried ring ffx on several occasions but no 1 answers. Tried live chat that didn't work. So I need my money back.

Avoid at all costs!

I can't believe the positive reviews are true... I've just had exactly the same thing as before happen to my most recent order!!

I ordered 10 days ago with next day delivery. I've heard absolutely nothing since and the money was taken from my account on the day I ordered.

I've tried to contact by phone... during office hours, only to be told by an auto response to ring back in office hours!!! I got the same thing from the online chat feature. I've had no response to my facebook message. I've had no response to my email to the complaints team (Paul, I think it's refered to as on the website).

The website now says they are taking no further orders.

I can only assume the company is going under. I'm going to have to contact my bank (paid on credit card) and launch a refund from them.

Don't use this company... not worth the hassle.
They did offer a £10.25 refund on my previous poor experience, but I never received it.

What can I say, other than 'you've been warned!!!' - The company is behaving like a scam site... I don't think it is... but... I don't know.
