Great lettings platform

This is the first time I've used Goodlord as part of a new tenancy and I was really impressed. It was super easy to use, the bot feature helps you navigate through each step and it's good to see where you are in the process of finalising your referencing/payments. Took me 20 mins max to complete everything. If I ever have any future tenancies, I hope that the landlord or agency use Goodlord!

The service was so quick and efficient

The service was so quick and efficient, no hassle, filling in the details took 20mins max and full referencing completed before end of day. I've done referencing though good lord twice for different properties and both have been really smooth. 10 out of 10

Shocking Service, No Care For Landlords

I've been in the industry 24 years and can honestly say that the service offered by way of rent protection to landlords is shocking.

At no point has the rent been paid anywhere near on time and I have to chase for payment on behalf of my client time and time again.

Evicting tenants is stressful enough for landlords, but the added stress from not bothering to pay the rent efficiently makes life even worse.

I have even recently asked to deal with a senior person and requested their complaints procedure, but not even the courtesy of a reply.

I will not be using Goodlord going forward, as there is no customer service and my experience has been terrible!

We've never signed up to them or give…

We've never signed up to them or give any consent for anyone to provide both our phone numbers to them when we moved to a new rental property a month ago. They continue to call both me and my partner, leave voicemails and its borderline harassment at this point. If someone don't call you back they are clearly not interested.
Please stop calling us both constantly, we did not consent for our phone numbers to be shared to them.

There is constant issues with…

There is constant issues with guarantors. Managing student lets we have ALOT of guarantors and encounter issues weekly with the Goodlord systems when a tenant adds either the wrong guarantor or the wrong email address. When you remove them to let the tenant add a new one it locks the account and only Goodlord support can fix it. Time consuming and inconvenient.

Horrible

They failed to add my landlord's reference to my application, I had to chase it. I started using their partner's utility transfer services and was quoted 506 pounds per month for energy and water for a two bedroom flat (was quoted 79 by other providers independently for reference). So I obviously didn't sign up for anything but still somehow ended up with an account at the energy provider and will be charged for a period where I wasn't even living at the property.

Good customer service at last

The customer support experience is now much better than previously when agents were allocated certain teams. Today my query was answered very promptly and concisely but also in a very friendly manner by Heather.

Quick response time

Heather has answered quite a few queries for us since we first onboarded with Goodlord and has been super helpful and very quick in getting back to us. It's a real relief to know there is good, on-going support.
