I had found some suspicious looking plants in my garden and was worried they might be knotweed .I found the Japanese knotweed company on line and sent them a few photos .
Dan from JK ltd sent me a message almost immediately confirming it wasn’t knotweed and suggesting what plant it was -great service - thank you .

I found the Japanese Knotweed website whilst trying to check a plant that was growing in a garden.
I emailed them a couple of photos and the following morning they replied confirming it was not knotweed.
I am very impressed at the prompt service received and I would definitely be inclined to use their service if required.

Very honest company!
I was just days from completing on a house.When I went back to inspect the house I found what looked like Japanese knotweed. I called these guys who knew I was in a panic. Instead of charging me for an appointment to inspect they suggested that I emailed a picture which I did. They responded immediately to advise me that it wasn’t knotweed and recommended treatment saving me hundreds of pounds.
I can highly recommend these guys for honesty and best advice.👌�

Hi, I am looking for actual reviews of this company for work done to eliminate knotweed. I can see many where emails were sent to them and knotweed was NOT IDENTIFIED free of charge via photos sent via email. These are not reviews of their actual knotweed work and control just their customer service and ability to give a free service. Hav scrolled through many TRUSTPILOT reviews but very few actually mention work done, control of the problem and long term commitments to treatment which is either 5 or 10 years. How can 5 star reviews count against overall performance when most seem to be only based on the ability to answer an email?
They have responded but 5 star reviews that do not relate to actual work carried out should be removed or not included in the ratings totals. I personally think this is a misleading rating.

Very worried to come across a suspicious looking plant one evening that suddenly seemed to appear out of nowhere.
Very pleased to stumble across Japanese Knotweed Ltd who after sending just a couple of pictures were able to confirm the very next morning it was not Japanese Knotweed.

I'm a Chartered Surveyor it can be daunting when you look into a garden or it's adjoining properties and note a sea of planting some with leaf shaped like Japanise knot week.Thankfully a photo or two can resolve this anxiety. A neighbour came to our house today to say we have Japanese Knotweed and need to sort it out immediately. We bought the house a year ago, and thus were quite disturbed to have this accusation.
Within hours, I found this company, requesting a survey via their online submission. They responded wtihin minutes asking for photos and then within minutes again, photos sent, the owner called me to tell me the good news - its bindweed and not knotweed.
He sent me email documentation to this effect, so I can tell my neighbour.
He did all of this FREE OF CHARGE. Avoiding an expensive survey. Honestly, if I did have knotweed at any property, I'd work with these guys.

I received a reply straight away and was very relieved to be advised that the plant I asked about is not Japanese Knotweed. They are not obliged to, but also suggested what it very probably is instead. Looking at photos of the suggestion online, I can see the clear resemblance and I confident now of what it is. We discovered a few suspicious looking weeds growing in both our front and back garden at an alarming rate.
A family member didn't help by saying that it was Japanese Knotweed.
Obviously concerned, we used the free survey offered by japaneseknotweed.co.uk.
Within a couple of days our minds were put at rest with a clear answer provided by the company that it was in fact NOT Japanese Knotweed.
Knowing what we know now about the effective remedies available, we weren't as worried should the result come back positive but it was obviously a relief to get the 'all clear'.
I'd recommend the service to anyone, the company are clearly very genuine, trustworthy and efficient.
They could've quite easily said they "Weren't sure" and they would need to do "a site visit in person" which they could charge for, before giving the same diagnosis. But they didn't. Thank you!

Whilst cutting back garden found what ai thought was knotweed toik photo’s and submitted a free confirmation request. They confirmed within 30 minutes which was very pleaeing and allowed me to carry on.
Considering this is free which nowadays is rare, excellecent service and thanks from a very happy customer.
