Avoid if possible

I have been with Ladybird Insurance for nearly a year, and my experience has been nothing short of appalling. When I asked them to update my insurance to cover my new vehicle, they outright refused, claiming it "UNFORTUNATELY" couldn't be done. Fine. Then I requested a refund for the extra money they charged for my old vehicle—money they had no right to keep. Once again, they refused point-blank.

This agency is nothing but a total scam, blatantly ripping off their customers. To make matters worse, their customer service team is downright disgraceful—rude, arrogant, and utterly devoid of professionalism. It’s disgusting how they treat their customers.

I wouldn’t wish dealing with Ladybird Insurance on my worst enemy. If you value your peace of mind, stay far, far away from this company. NEVER trust them with your money or your business—an absolute nightmare from start to finish.

Aviod at all costs!

Never in the twenty-five years of driving have I dealt with an insurance company like this, I set up this policy a couple of months ago for an additional car paid the deposit and set up direct debits. started to get emails saying I need to upload photos of driving licence and DVLA check code for me and the wife! I thought a bit of a pain but ok. every time I attempted to upload through the portal, I got a page error so I left it a few days and tried again, still the same error! done a few times after. I tried to make contact through email, and no reply until I was informed my policy had been cancelled two days after them taking a direct debit payment end of November. I wrote an email asking for direct debit payment to be returned to as per there cancelation and still had no reply. Yesterday 27th Nov I checked my online banking to see what the damage was after Christmas and noticed they has taken another £169 from my account. I personally feel this was the worse experiance I have had with a car insurance provider and waste of money as I have paid for 12 months of insurance which only covered me for 1 month, where is the value in that.

Trying to get a windscreen changed with…

Trying to get a windscreen changed with these clowns is worse than pulling bloody teeth. Do not use this company for insurance as they are awful and you have to deal with god knows how many different companies to get an answer to anything, oh and there website should be called a webshite, it is worse than awful

Avoid!

Avoid!! AVOID!! AVOID!! This is a terrible fraudulent company they are not ladybird they are Aviva, customer service horrible asking obscene questions which don’t relate to car insurance. Wanting documents regarding my property which is nothing to do with car insurance. They use google maps to search for your property and see if it “looks” right? Please do not use this company they are misleading and invasive!!

Amanda was lovely

Amanda was lovely, polite and helpful. I was struggling to pay fir the policy online and she helped me to understand why. The phone line wasn't very good and she was super patient and friendly throughout. Thank you.

I was try to get a quote but Mark on of…

I was try to get a quote but Mark on of there staff manage to explain everything to me and tell me to collect some information from my formal insurance company. And the quotation given to me was better off. Even cheaper from what the machine generates. For now the staff treat me well finger crossed.😄

CHECK THE PRICE

Very easy process, found via go.compare but the price you pay is higher than quoted however that also seemed to be the case with other companies so I don't know if the problem is with ladybird or the comparison site

Best insurance you can get if you have…

Best insurance you can get if you have been unlucky and had 3 accidents in less than 5 years and known where your fault. Still overcharges but at least they are reasonable.

We took out an insurance policy with…

We took out an insurance policy with Ladybird insurance, we decided this wasn't the insurance company for us due to very poor service, and cancelled the policy online. This policy is still live and no response from the insurance company. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! The customer service is disgraceful, the insurance is a scam really as they ask for documents they do not need for insurance, and also do not cancel policies when customers request. We have subsequently cancelled this policy online 6 times to no avail which could cause huge problems when looking to go with another company.

In response to the reply from Ladybird Insurance, the email address provided has already been emailed three times.

Run, now!

Run, just run away quickly.

Ladybird use a 3rd party company called QDOS. Ladybird don't deal with a claim should you need to make one. Instead they get kickbacks from QDOS who in turn so everything they can to prolong the matter for everyone concerned just to make their money.

It was either use them or not have my claim dealt with. I knew from then on, I was doomed.

I don't want to go into details of what I've been through. Just don't use Ladybird. Don't use any insurance company that uses a claim management company. You'll go through a lot of stress helping them make money and you'll be signed up to legally helping them. The 3rd party will quite rightly question all the out of pocket losses that you could have done without. It can become rather stressful as you will be signed up to go to court and act as a witness just to help QDOS claim their money from the 3rd party. In reality, you just want the money for your car and to get on with your life.
