Not much of an experience. Wanted to upload a map route for an upcoming ride and that wasn't possible or straight forward without fees.
Using the maps and planning out a route not that intuitive.

I have found it relatively easy to self tuition and learn this application. It produces good results although occasionally the maps need updating more quickly to reflect situations like road closures, roadworks and re-routing. Like all else, the more one uses the app the easier it gets and although I wouldn’t class myself as an expert now, I can produce a route reasonably quickly now that’s accurate. I would like to see more emphasis placed on the computer based MRA route planner for development as it seems that resources over the last twelve months or more have been spent solely on the phone app. Otherwise I’m happy to continue using MRA Route planner on my desktop computer and to continue to build my skills.

MyRoute is a very strong well detailed and full of great features that can make your rout planning tremendous.
As an ' English ' only speaking user I get notifications on vlogs but they never mention what language they are going to be in ... more in English would help.
The integration from Apple MacBooks to Garmin is difficult

Making routes it's easy and you can do the length that you want as whit many points as you want so you can do exactly the course you wanted so in that case is very good. I only have one thing tha i like it was easier, if want to change the direction of the course don't needed to do the routing all over again only for put the end in the in the beginning it could push a button only for change the direction.

Excellent Route Planning Application.
I use this with my BMW Connected Ride Navigator and it works perfectly. I just plan my route on MRA, send it to the BMW APP and it appears on my navigation system, so easy and intuitive. The MRA support system can also be accessed via the web if you need any help, the is also a great community support.

This app works really well and is easy to use. It is straight forward and the learning curve is pretty low compared to other apps.
The only issue I have is when you load a specific route into two different bikes, sometimes they dont agree on navigating the route. I find this very strange and so far I can't figure out how to correct the issue. And this happens even though both motorcycles navigation settings are the same. Otherwise, I like using the app

The app is so powerful! It can do probably much more than the average user will ever do, but this makes it a power users gold mine. I did have some issues with it not getting GPS lock. The phone had GPS lock because Google maps had no issues at the exact same time and place. It could use a little simplifying for novice users. All the features can be a bit overwhelming at first.

MRA is the answer to Garmin's Basecamp. As a lifelong user of Mapsource and in recent years Basecamp and considered to be quite proficient in Basecamp, I find MRA even easier and better to use. With the GOLD version having options to change map types to your own needs is outstanding. Just very easy to use and plenty of extras way beyond what Garmin has produced. Basecamp is not being updated with any more developer funds but they will keep it running for many years to come but MRA continues to develop its platform to meet users needs.

I find the app intuitive and easy to use to use. Route planning is made simple with an array of tools to keep all your files organized.
After switching from Basecamp because of PC related problems I’m glad to have found MyRoute.
The one fault I don’t like and experience on a frequent basis is the extremely slow load times while using the HERE overlay. While there is a workaround I’d love to see this issue resolved.

Expensive, in Finland tourdriving season for motorbike is june-august. Paying 12 months makes it too expensive, compared to free google maps. I liked the track mode when you can freeze your route.

I use MRA exclusively for planning my multi day motorcycle touring trips. Whether it’s one day or five weeks on the road, MRA with my Garmin XT using the garmin drive app on my phone is all I need. No cables required to transfer gpx files directly to the gps.

After having used several Moto Navigation apps I found out that this one does everything I expect from navigation app. Now, I love to plan my trips and export them to Garmin Zumo XT - easy peasy lemon squeezy

It's a very good planning tool for a PC/laptop. It has many useful features such as street level, ability to convert routes for use on different platforms; TomTom, Garmin etc.
The only criticism I have is of the APP version for phone and iPad; it is not AS user-friendly as the PC version and lacks features. However, in this it doesn't really differ that much from other APP based platforms, but you would expect it to mirror the PC version. It therefore isn't "as" convenient "on-the-go".

Poor support for Android Auto, unable to zoom in and out on the map. Unable to manage or edit route from Android Auto.
The app requires further support for Android Auto by replicating features and controls that the mobile app has for Android Auto.

Everything works great when you get the hang of it. But sometimes the Garmin Zuma screws it up after download and activate the route it changes from the program and then needs to be deleted and downloaded again.

My main handicap is the abruptness when zooming in or out of the maps. A real pain.
About the overall use experience I understand that the easy of use/features trade off is very much a matter of personal preference.
Overall, I am happy with the product. I will give a five star rating when the zoom issue gets resolved.

MRA offers a great deal of flexibility to run their service. It is ideal to plan routes and the constantly develop their app to improve on navigation. They have come a long way over the last two years, to a point that one wonders how much long one will be using one's Garmin XT for :-)
