Professional, yet something lacking

Great start to our loss assessment claim, fast responses and a dedicated/appointed claim handler who took a lot of the work out the process. Helped immensely against our insurers who wanted to pay out bare minimum for damages.

We opted to go through Oakleafe's trusted contractors, who were however downright sloppy (Slayco). Lost house keys, leaving front door wide open for hours unattended. We were unfortunate to have our house flood twice in 6 months while repairs took place, beyond this point Oakleafes interest was in obtaining another insurance claim for what I assumed would be more commission for the claim handler.

When I did not raise another claim, interest in the existing claim dissipated drastically, and it became a drag to communicate and get the initial claim resolved. Strong start, but a slow finish.

Very helpful and useful

We recently had the unfortunate experience of dealing with a house fire. Oakleafe (and Abbas Khan) made the claims process much smoother than we anticipated. He dealt with the difficult insurance company and underwriters. We did not have the time and stamina to deal with someone that is working against you. Abbas got a much better outcome than we would have on our own. He was professional as well as empathetic throughout the process. He consistently advocated for our best interests. His expertise and dedication were evident, and we are extremely grateful for his support during such a challenging time. Highly recommend both Oakleaf Claims and Abbas Khan.

Oakleafe were SO helpful

After the burglary, I felt quite vulnerable and over whelmed. Abbas Khan from Oakleafe was kind, sympathetic and supportive throughout the whole process. He involved me at every stage and gave invaluable advice. I believe that the financial settlement would have been far less without his involvement. I am so grateful for his input into what was a horrible experience which would have been so much worse without him.

Truly exceptional Loss Assessors

Had a very long and arduous claim with the council where I was getting nowhere with their loss adjusters. I found Oakleafe online and got in contact with them. They sent an ascessor to my property straightaway and dealt with the situation efficiently and professionally on my behalf going above and beyond to get me a proper settlement. I am so happy and grateful that I found this company as they took over and dealt with everything leaving me to get on with my life and my job for which I am extremely grateful. What a star 🌟

I must admit a couple of months ago I was going to write a different review as the person dealing with my claim was the worst ever, but then I was given a fantastic man called Robert Hickson, within weeks he had sorted everything out that had been left by his predisesor and more. Robert has been the most attentive and kindest man, he even drove from Taunton to Rotherham to come and meet myself and my husband. This man made my claim so smooth, I only wish I had been working with him from the start.

great support and help from day one - when we needed it - (due to hospital visits and treatment - )
we really just handed everything over to david to deal with - which he did with ease and efficiency.
i have no doubt our settlement would have been much less had david and his team not been involved..
happy to have finally received a settlement - even though it was a long road with numerous complications.

Once Oakleafe was involved in the claim the claim got moving

My insurance claim was going nowhere. Phoning daily, no response from the Loss adjustor. A friend recommended Oakleafe which themselves used the year previous and said they handle the claim and work for the policy holder. My friend was completely right. Oakleafe dealt with the insurance company, my claim started moving again and finally full works were carried out.

new loss assessor…

I have now met with a new loss assessor from Oakleafe and he has reassured me that Oakleafe will help me in the manner they initially set out. I am now confident that I will be ably assisted. A meeting has taken place at my derelict home and thanks to Oakleafe engaging an independent surveyor things are starting to get fixed. I am now able to state that I would recommend Oakleafe Claims.

Dean was fantastic help after my claim…

Dean was fantastic help after my claim was rejected by insurers. One of my properties suffered a large escape of water and my insurers refused to pay. He took on my claim January 2024 and was brilliant from start to finish. I would highly recommend Oakleafe Claims Northern Ireland to anyone in need of help with their claim. Thank you Dean!

So grateful!

I am so grateful for Oakleafe, especially Aaron! My adjusters were trying to throw my claim out for a silly reason, I realised I needed some help and after a bit of research I discovered Oakleafe. They understood my circumstances and were abe to send over Aaron the assessor. He was absolutely fantastic and took charge of the claim. He managed to argue with the insurance company and they managed to accept liability and offer a decent settlement! I am over the moon!

Myself and my wife had to vacate our…

Myself and my wife had to vacate our apartment for ten weeks while our leak was repaired. It was a very stressful time but Abbas kept us informed regularly and dealt with all for us. Could not have asked for a better claims technician, very professional and a very nice person.

Unhelpful, slow, dont reply or send request to loss adjuster for weeks

Anybody looking for help of loss assessor stay away. I have been dealing with these guys for a year. They are always taking weeks to reply or pass your request to loss adjuster. Even the email you send to them to forward to loss adjuster, you would hear after a week that it is not been sent because they are busy. You would employ them thinking that guys would help with claim however they end up creating more hurdle and additional level of bureaucracy for you. At the time of signing 2 gentleman visited my home saying they would be available for help, telling me how knowledgeable they are - now i am being told director does not have time for any talk.

Anyway really bad experience, find someone else who is helpful and has time to assist you.
