The second engineer who came to my…

The second engineer who came to my property, no problem, The first engineer who should’ve came on the 13th of December was rude to me after I requested could he come back in 20 minutes? And I said he that he did not ring me to tell me what time he was coming roughly after that conversation he put the phone down on me and told me he was not doing the work. But the second guy who came, he previously rang me and told me what time he was coming nicest pie no problem.

The five star is for the Engineer who…

The five star is for the Engineer who came to resolve our broadband issue with EE. Unfortunately he couldn't after two visits and was coming back for a third and he even tried to link me up remotely while at home.
I cancelled his third visit as it was the last day that I could cancel the 14 day trial period with EE before I was entered into a full contract.

Second tech fixed our fault after a…

Second tech fixed our fault after a contractor unplugged our line! This is inexcusable behaviour, leaving us without Internet for nearly a week. A problem that need not happen if someone had done their job properly. Thank goodness our tech knew what he was doing!!

Fast fibre broadband

Your engineer Jordan was here nice and early, I left him to get on with it. All done in relatively quick time, he cleaned up any mess that was made and checked that all was working and if I needed any help setting up phones etc with new password. Can't fault anything, great service

Excellent service

Excellent service. Sharlene was polite and friendly. Extremely helpful and over came the issue to successful restore our internet. After resolving the issue she came back to our property to inform us and make sure all was ok x thank you so much very efficient and very impressed.

If you want a good reliable company

If you want a good reliable company to fix your issues , use open reach / Sky services. They Fixed my issues quick and give me regular phone call updates until it was done. Fantastic service and a nice friendly engineer.

Kai worked hard to find the problem on…

Kai worked hard to find the problem on the first day and thought we had a solution but this was not the case. I rang him the next day and he responded straight away to return and investigate further to finally solved the problem. I found him to be a very professional person who is a credit to the open reach organisation.

Mark our engineer was so so good

Mark our engineer was so so good. He came the day of my father’s funeral and was extremely sensitive to our needs. I called him after he sent an SMS Message and explained the situation. Without hesitation he prioritised us and was extremely helpful. Thank you Mark

Fast, efficient, polite assistance

My landline phone stopped working. I called the suggested number and had a surprisingly painless trip through the call center wait list. They sent me an engineer the next working day despite it being near Christmas. It turned out that I had accidentally unplugged the phone line, but the engineer was very nice about it and ran a few other tests to make sure everything was working.

Scott really went above and beyond to…

Scott really went above and beyond to support me. The initial scheduler didn’t seem to listen to my availability and situation when booking but Scott was incredibly flexible and supportive. He resolved the issue quickly and was great with my daughter whilst everything was setting up and sorting

Billy, our Openreach guy!

Billy, the Openreach guy who set us up with our full fibre broadband, was brilliant! He arrived very promptly, worked extremely efficiently and was very friendly. After installation, he made sure that my laptop was working as it should be. The boxes, outside and inside, have been installed very discreetly. A very good job done! Thank you.

BT cancelled my contact ( I did nothing…

BT cancelled my contact ( I did nothing wrong, just had a letter saying “sorry you’re leaving”. It took five hours on the phone, one engineer who couldn’t put my internet back and forwarded it to OpenReach. Second engineer came and failed to connect my computer. I’m now awaiting a third visit tomorrow- I shall definitely make sure it’s working before he goes!

Superb Engineer- Gareth

Engineer, Gareth contacted me on the day to let me know when he would be arriving.
Throughout he was one of the most polite and helpful engineers I have encountered.
He got my father's phone up and running with a temporary fix, as he needed hoist for full repair due to tree breaking the line. I expected this would be after Christmas, but was delighted when he said it would be the next day. He contacted me on my mobile the next day to let me know their arrival time. Contacted me after the full fix to let me know all complete and my father was happy.
Very Happy with the service given be Openreach.

Would recommend.

The guys who came to install the WiFi were friendly, worked really quickly and had really good chat. They spoke to me about where best to drill, gave me options and gave me their opinions on what would work best, and as someone who didn't know what that all meant, it was very much appreciated.

The engineer Taylor couldn’t have been more helpful and accommodating - we are in the middle of an extension so things were all over the place but he was happy to help with advice and made the install really easy.
I was very happy with the service received.

Hello could you pass a message onto Paul the engineer who came to fix my broadband last Saturday in Gaerwen. Hi Paul did you inadvertently pick up a black plug and charger last Saturday morning. Its to charge my vacuum cleaner. Looked everywhere and can't find it. Cheers John

A company whose High level complaints & Parliamentary help team are happy to lie to MPs to cover up their illegal work.

why do your engineers consistently place cables less than 2 metres from residential properties when you know you aren’t legally allowed to do so? And why do you refuse to answer the question?

Good to, eventually. receive some good service


After several times contacting TalkTalk when the phone stopped working and then lost internet connection when carrying out their tests a number of times they eventually sent an Openreach engineer to investigate. A delightful young man, John, very professional and helpful, clearly explained to two OAPs how he was checking and testing each stage and subsequently did a great job sorting the problem. He phoned back later to confirm everything was working as it should. (A much appreciated outcome after three weeks without a phone service, sorted by an excellent engineer providing an excellent customer care service. Thank you - Good to eventually receive some good service these days !
