I am very happy with Puffin Insurance and always use them. I recently purchased very good travel insurance which covers my medical condition and has excellent longer trip prices compared to other competitors.

I have used Puffin many times in the past because they came recommended by WHICH. I found there website no nonsense and easy to use and their policies reasonably priced. However, I have never needed to claim. I was about to book with them again but decided to look at recent Google Reviews and they are terrible and also not good on Trust Pilot either regarding people experiencing avoidance and long delays trying to process their claims. I certainly wont be using them this time around.

It has been 4 months since I started a claim, and it is still not fully resolved. Emails are left unanswered for weeks at a time. Puffin seem to think it is simply AXA's problem now. I didn't take the contract with AXA, I bought from Puffin, their customer service has brushed me off with this

We have forwarded your email to our AXA relationship manager for them to arrange for someone from AXA to contact you directly.
Puffin have made no attempt to follow up to see how it is going, would really think twice if you are considering using them.
Their lack of help as left me financially in peril and has definitely impacted, in a bad way, my health and rehabilitation in what was already a stressful and painful situation.

Easy to Navigate site, have used in the recent past. Right price, no fuss.
Ultimately though any Insurance company is only as good as the results after a claim.

Purchased a travel policy. It was a renewal. The purchase process was easy and straightforward.
I did have cause to claim on a policy 2 years ago - the acid test. The claim 2 years ago was handled easily and quickly.

Have used this company a number of times for holiday insurance. The online form is pretty easier to fill in (even for me in my 79th year) From past experience i need to say there are even real people on the end of a phone to help if you get stuck , I know almost unbelievable in this day and age but it's true, real people, wonderful..

I had tried several insurance companies to get travel insurance for a trip I plan next year. I have 3 preexisting medical conditions, nothing unusual all quite common. I was on the different websites filling in their forms and I would get to a point and it would tell me to speak to an advisor. On each occasion o would be on the phone for at least 30 mins answering different questions some very personal. For them to quote me huge amounts to get cover. I would then get ring back calls asking if I was still interested for at least a week after declining to take out the policy!! PUFFIN INSURANCE was suggested by a friend,I went online answered the few questions, got a much more realistic quote and took out their policy. I know this sounds like a cheesy ad line but... I couldn't believe how easy it was and how quick, all rounded up with a great price! Will recommend.

I used PUFFIN insurance last year for my cruise, and fell over in Iceland, my claim was paid within 7 days. I have just phoned to get insured again for next year, all medical issues exactly the same so was much quicker to go through. Lady called Nadine was lovely to speak to.

Competitive rates and very easy to get medical travel insurance.
Happy to go on holiday and feel protected as it’s always a worry to travel with medical issues.
Shall be looking at doing my husband’s insurance with Puffin too.

I think the lower cost of Puffin gives better VFM when compared to competitors providing the same level of insurance. Truthfully the questionnaire process is more-or-less the same for all the insurance providers.

I don't like using the internet, at my age it’s not easy but your website was fine. The price for skiing insurance was favourable. I emailed the company to ensure I was buying the correct insurance, the response came back very quickly from Customer Services.
