If i could i'll rate them a 0. The most rude and obnoxious courier service. They are rude on the phone when you inquire about the package. The delivery guy leaves by the time someone comes to take the package and hang up the call and refuses ro deliver. The people at the centre are the same as they hardly pick up a call and when they do they have such sarcastic gestures as what are we supposed to do as if they are making you a big favour by delivering the package.

In firm agreement with all the other…

In firm agreement with all the other 1-star reviews here. Purolator "attempted delivery" 3 days ahead of my confirmed ETA so I missed it; they "confirmed delivery" with the seller anyway but then dumped my parcels at a depot with zero customer service, won't answer the phone, not open on weekends, would not re-attempt delivery despite repeated requests from both myself and the seller, while sending wholly useless "updates". I will never willingly use Purolator. Shame on you Canada Post.

Edit to add: I see that Purolator "Customer Service" has replied, asking me to send them my tracking # and they'll "look into it". Nice try Purolator. I have been writing Purolator for the past 8 days, and only get robot-replies. "Zeke" may very well be a robot too. Don't buy it.

What a jokeeeeee!!!!

Paying for delivery, just for the driver to leave a note that no one was home. They gave me all of 2 minutes to get to the door, and by then, they were already gone. No knock, no bell, nothing. I hope this person gets fired asap because this is just beyond frustrating.

Then I cannot even get in touch with customer service. The bot is completely useless, and I've been waiting on the line for 50 whole minutes now.

As of writing

As of writing, Purolator has been holding something I ordered one hour away for over three weeks claiming there's a 'ferry delay' - There is no ferry or train or road closure happening. It's impossible to reach an actual person by phone or their chat to try to figure out what's going on. It's appalling how bad their service is. I'd give them zero stars if I could.

Worst Service ever

Worst Service ever - False information of attempted delivery.

I have two IMP documents to be delivered yesterday 13th Jan 2025 and today 14th Jan 2025.

I received the email that an Attempted delivery - the receiver was unavailable.

I work from home and there was no attempt made nor there are paper notes outside of my door knob How can Purolator give this False info.

This is the third time I had a BAD experience with them.

I did not choose their service they are tied up with government service like Ottawa BLS and Toronto Immigration service.

Tracing department useless

I had 2 similar items shipped from my supplier.
I recorded one and on. Their tracking site it’s been reported as undeliverable.

We called them for a week with the response of the someone will back to us. No one did for a week and we kept calling back as we needed the shipment. A week past. Someone transfers us to their tracking department. No one answers. At 4 pm we get a email asking for more details 2 minutes later we get another email saying they will close the case if we don’t respond by end of business day. What is this. The. 15 minutes later another email saying they have checked could not provide proof for delivery.
That is what we are telling you!!!!

ZERO STARS

Would give zero stars if that was an option, have been waiting on a medical package for WEEKS now, it arrived in my town (after waiting close to a month) very close to my house, and got sent BACK over two hours away, their excuse was it was “misdirected” this happened to me multiple times over and over again. They don’t know how to do their jobs at ALL, would not recommend puralator to anyone, as far as I’m concerned they shouldn’t be in business

Purolator's 'the dog ate my homework' excuses

A pkg sent from Etobicoke on 24 Dec. was supposed to arrive on 6 Jan. It didn't because of an apparent 'ferry delay'. Today (10 Jan.) it hasn't been delivered due to a 'weather delay' despite the weather being perfectly fine here (cloudy, only the odd snow flurry, and temps about -2C). Purolator chooses to offer nothing but the equivalent of 'the dog ate my homework' excuses. It also chooses to do nothing more than offer the same boilerplate response to most negative reviews on this website. The minimum of a 1 star review that we can provide is FAR too generous for this totally inept company.

Phone help completely useless

Phone help completely useless, just tell you to use the website. Website doesn’t give any options, just says they will deliver by 9pm either same day or next day regardless of actual operating hours of the business receiving the parcel. What happens if they try to deliver at 6:05 since the business closes at 6? No options available for over $50 for a 50km trip is ridiculous.

Very unhappy with Purolators services

Very unhappy with Purolators services, I dropped off an Amazon return on Jan 2nd in Meaford Ontario, its destination is Scarborough, it has been “in transit” since January 9th, it is now the 15th, and still this return has not been delivered to the Amazon facility, it’s arrived at the sort facility in Scarborough, which took a week, which is appalling to say the least seeing as Scarborough from Meaford is a measly 2 hour drive, and I can’t imagine any reason as to why it hasn’t been delivered to the Amazon facility IN SCARBOROUGH considering it’s been in the same town for 5 days! So now because of Purolators extremely slow service I am still waiting for my refund amount to even be released from Amazon! This is pathetic! Their customer service lines are an absolute joke! You call and sit on hold for a long time and are not assisted properly whatsoever!
This company is a sad and poorly managed one! And unfortunately people like me suffer because of shitty management people.

Does the QR code mean nothing??

I followed the instructions to return my extra xmas present. I dropped it off at staples, got a receipt, and waited for my tracking to show I had dropped off my package. Now, 10 days later, my tracking has not moved. It has been confirmed it has arrived to the depot in Richmond. So I called, and got a very sarcastic, un professional CS agent. She told me that amazon was wrong stating that when the package has been accepted as 'dropped off' I would receive my refund. She has told me they have 21 days to post my dropped off package. Just want to shout out to UPS that scanned my return, s3nt it out, and gave me my refund the same day they scanned my QR code. I will not purchase anything on Amazon going fwd that uses purolator to return products. As a member of a large wholesaler who prides themselves on helping their customers, Purolator should do much better

Totally incompetent company holding packages hostage for weeks

They know their Etobicoke facility is weeks behind schedule and yet they still accept new deliveries. I've been waiting for 2 WEEKS for my package from BestBuy and absolutely nothing. No apologies, no updates, nothing.
Some of my friends and family have waited for OVER A MONTH for something that should've taken 2 days to ship. Absolutely useless business. Never do business with them.

It’s crazy how awful their service is

It’s crazy how awful their service is! They have had a package for me for a few days now and yesterday said it was delayed due to bad weather and when I looked out the window it was slowly snowing which lasted about 10 minutes if that. They also love to use the excuse of “delayed due to a miss connection”

How are they even still in business

Awful company seriously, not one thing good about this company at all.

Canada post was on strike and they managed to get my order to me before it was even to be delivered, but this company can’t keep up?

I ordered something Jan 3rd was to be here Jan 13th ( I ordered from the same place a couple weeks prior as well and they said they attempted delivery but didn’t even knock.) this time they apparently couldn’t find my address that was the same they delivered to weeks prior.
Returned to facility now again
Then it was out for delivery now it’s back at facility with another issue. Can’t get ahold of customer service, even emailed them no email back can’t get answers, can’t even get it delivered.
I will ask places who they ship with before I ever order from places just to stay away from this company. I even put hold for pick up at the location nearest me, and they can’t even do that!!!!
Now I have to go spend even more money well I wait for this since I have no idea where it is.

terrible

from red deer to edmonton, from edmonton to lloydminster and back to edmonton.

The address is British columbia, are they this inept at purolator?

never again will i pay 90$ and use purolator.

tried calling, after 30 min i requested call back, hour goes by. no call back.

now on hold for 90 minutes.

pkg on vacation ride

Driver left a sticker on my door,never knocked or rang door bell.
PKG rode around 2 days ,never left at drop off the day the sticker appeared.
DAY3,finally rec. at notice its been left at drop loc,WTH.

Bunch of IDIOTS!

This so called courier company is completely INEPT. My package has been sitting in Etobicoke ON. for three days without moving! Customer support is useless! Do yourself a favour and ship with anyone else but Shipmutchlater!

Driver left without knocking on the…

Driver left without knocking on the door with my package. In the package was 3 SIM cards for my phones, all phones stop working in 2 days and I can't get my package from Purolator fo 4 days. Every time I call morning, noon, or night the wait says over 45 minutes. It is not "higher than usual call volumes" its all the time.
