Great telephone company for elderly people who can be a bit scared of technology, everything was simple as its name suggests.
My 86 year old Mum now has broadband, can FaceTime her family, browse the internet and have catch up TV.
The whole switchover was so easy and quick

The transition was fairly good and any time I needed to speak to anyone was quite quick, unfortunately there's just one point that was annoying trying to enter login password for 2hrs then I phoned and had help and told that it's the wireless key needed. But all good now.

Like many others I was pleased to find this business who are able to provide a simple phone line without thrills. My 86 year old mum moved across the country into a retirement village and being IT illiterate just needed a phone.
Initial contact with Louise was very positive and paperwork through my POA was straightforward. The new modem arrived within a week. There were a number of initial issues. The SIM card had been inserted the wrong way around and when we got the line working she was able to call out but not receive calls. Worse still when I tried to ring her I got through to another resident in the same retirement village! Turns out the telephone company had issued the same number twice!
This was swiftly sorted by Evan after the weekend and a new number was issued to my mum. No problems since. Best part of the service is the ability to phone Simple Telecommunications directly and speak to a person about any issues. A rarity nowadays.

The 1phone is ideal for my elderly mother-in-law who doesn't use the internet. The service from Simple Telecoms had been a great experience from ordering through to her number ported. My two queries by phone were answered quickly and professionally by the excellent staff. I would highly recommend this company.

The installation by Openreach was quick but they left me in the lurch even though I am not tech savvy.

I cannot recommend this company highly enough! They were super helpful from start to finish in getting my Grandmother set up with a simple landline. Communication was excellent all the way through and we are very happy with how easy the process was. You get to speak to an actual human and everything is straight forward.

The people I have dealt with have been polite, helpful and have dealt with my queries immediately. The telephone is answered very quickly, no hanging around for ages waiting for it to be answered. My mum has been a customer of simpe telecommunications for many years for phone line only, when we wanted broadband it was with suprise we could have it then too, I spoke to John who was able to answer all my questions and get it sorted. Switched to 1Phone service. Changeover seamless with no loss of service - very important as I can't use a mobile.
Easy to access support and help throughout. Any queries were responded to promptly and courteously.
Apart from one small hiccup when I was erroneously asked to set up another DD, which slightly delayed things (but was spotted and quickly corrected) the experience was painless.

Was losing hope how to get a direct phone line for my mother-in-laws room in her Care home as her existing provider and BT were unable to help, when I read about this solution offered by Simple Telecommunications. And it works! The call-handlers Evan and Louise in the Provisioning team were very helpful and efficient, and at each stage of the process, I was kept fully informed and updated by email. Set-up of the equipment when received, was straightforward. Frankly, it was a pleasure to deal with this organisation. Thank you.

Hit problems switching to digital line, which was done on a Friday, so unfortunately the weekend got in the way. But Simple Telecoms were very helpful & kept at it until problem resolved. Problem was not Simple Telecoms fault, but a technical hitch transfering the phone number.

So far so good. Very good personal customer service. We have both telephone and broadband system operating via the Three mobile network, and this is far better than old copper PSTN connection we had previously. We went for this alternative solution as there is no sign of us having fibre optic connection in our area.

Porting my old phone number did not happen successfully. The problem was eliminated in about 5 working days. I am very pleased with the efficient service provided by Nicola, John, Louise and Evan. In fact the whole team at Simple Telecoms.
