Son-Video has a local branch close to where my family lives, so I could get a more live explanation of different alternatives to the type of product I was looking for before ordering it.
The delivery was as promised within 48 hours from time of payment.
In my particular case Aurelie, the shop manager was very kind and knowledgeable about the product, so I could enjoy great advice for free.
Also the prices seem very competitive.

In all these years I had and have a very good experience with Son&Vidéo.
Always quick answers to your question.
And a fast delivery also to my country Belgium.
And most of all; very good offers and prices.
Once I had a problem with a loudspeaker and their waranty service react well.

They aren't interested in your fulfilment.

I bought 3 high-ticket items. It transpired that only 2 were in stock and they refused to restock the remaining item for me due to constraints by the supplier.
They point blank denied my request for an honorable reimbursement so I can finish my purchase on another website at a higher price, and just flat out forced me on to their low value reimbursement offer.
Rather than look at the situation as a whole and seek my fulfilment first, they just wanted me gone and the situation closed and did so illegally by ignoring me and tearing up the buyer-sellers agreement made at purchase and proceeding with shipment and reimbursement without my consent.
This company has to change. Avoid if possible despite temping offers, stick with the highly successful Amazon for real customer fulfilment.

Dans ce cas là, comme nous l'indiquons sur notre site Internet, nous vous proposons un article en remplacement. Nous vous laissons bien sûr le choix de confirmer la commande, de la modifier selon nos préconisations ou de l'annuler sans aucun frais.

Vous avez payé 229 euros. Nous vous avons remboursé intégralement cette somme.

Focal aria grand spectacle 926

Good morning, I placed an order on 7/03/19 and to date do not know yet give me a date of shipment. The merchandise at the time of the order was in stock. Every request for information tells me a story. The last is that they are transferring from other deposits the goods to the central warehouse but it is 10 days that they are making the transfer. It Would be Enough to tell the truth! Luckily I paid with PayPal that I proceeded logically to contact.

Overall I have had a very positive…

Overall I have had a very positive experience with the purchase of Focal Aria 906s'. They were available at a very attractive price and while it was a bit disappointing having to wait for them to be back in stock for 3 weeks they well well worth the wait (and certainly well worth the price). Throughout that period Pierre from the customer support team was very helpful and promptly answered all my queries. Once the product was back in stock again it was dispatched the very same day and delivered to my address (Ireland) within 2 days with DHL express. Thank you.

son-video.com deceived me

I wanted to buy a Hifiman He-1000 headphone which they sold at 1990 euros discount price. I wrote an email to them in which I wrote that I wanted to buy this headphone and inquired about shipping. The next day they deliberately increased the headphone's price and told me that they could ship it to my country at 2990 euros price.
After I wrote another email about this dishonest behavior they promised me that they could sell it to me at discount price but later they have changed their minds.

Don't trust them!

Dissapointed

During their recent refurbished product sale I thought I got a good deal on one of the more popular high-end headphones.

I paid the 10% deposition fee and all, but suddenly 2 days later Son-Video cancelled the order.

Just have that in mind if you ever buy one of the more popular products when they're having a refurbished sales campaign.

Communication was a bit disappointing as well, It looked to me like they were using Google translate. Having at least a few English speakers on your customer support crew isn't too much to ask if you're selling to the rest of Europe.

If you sell items worth over 1000 Euro's to the rest of Europe, it's pretty baffling that the support can't communicate in English.

Due to exceptional technical issues, some customers were able to order the same product within a few minutes of each other. Considering the nature of the offer, only a single unit was available for each item and we were unfortunately unable to fulfill all the orders.
