Talk Talk have been happily charging my…

Talk Talk have been happily charging my parents £40 a month for sub 5mb broadband for years. It works about 60% of the day. Talk Talk claim it’s nothing to do with them, despite rock solid home Wi-Fi signal with a modern router/new filters/dedicated line, but the internet just disappears. Pointless customer service.

I will never recommend talk talk to…

I will never recommend talk talk to anyone who wishes to use internet. I am sad I selected them I have waited since 2nd December just for a house move and currently with them on the unteenth call on 27th December. Now they are asking me to wait till 17th January. Is there any other provider who can give me internet before that. They promised 10 to 14 days but now already 20 days passed 🤮 every time I call some customer care officer do something idiotic and still can’t connect having all the hardware available.

Still no gift card from talktalk/giftcloud

Started a contract in August with gift card offer, still no gift card. Escalated with talk talk and was told would receive within 5 working days... That was at the beginning of December! I don't seem to be alone on this issue, but really disappointed as the voucher offered was a factor going with TalkTalk and we hoped it would help us out for Christmas! Giftcloud status still just says pending, talk talk have been quick enough to take the DD since August though

I have had trouble with my WiFi since…

I have had trouble with my WiFi since the 12th dec.
I’m currently doing a degree.( my work I could not complete) I don’t have access to usual TV due to poor reception.i watch through WiFi.On the 19th they admitted there was a fault. 24th engineer came and requested a new modem and router. TalkTalk booked another appointment for the 27th to replace the router and modem. The engineer turned up and had no router. I am now without WiFi again. The whole experience has been shocking. Had to as for extensions on assignments and had to relocate for Christmas. I never received a call from them until I stated I wanted to cancel my contract. Communication between departments is unacceptable and quite frankly is a waste of my time and the engineers.

Avoid like the plague…

Awful. Transferred from Shell Energy Broadband when they purchased earlier this year. Zero correspondence to advise when I was switching, or to what package. No bills either. Two months in the broadband speed dropped off a cliff edge - like dial up modems! Turns out they had put me on the slowest package available (at £28 per month!!!!). Tried to complain and get resolved - not interested. Never experienced a more obtuse, computer says no form of customer service. At one point I even offered to upgrade to a more expensive package, so I could resolve the speed issue - at which point they refused to transfer me and insisted on running a line check (which I’d already done and was fine).

Lesson learned - stick with BT. They might be pricier and the customer service is only marginally better, but at least they wont get bought out by an awful company, botch the transfer and leave you with internet speeds from the 90s.

AVOID! Customer service nonexistent

The WORST "company", customer service is nonexistent, it's a profit grab scam where they will rip you off at every occasion. Signed a 2 year contract with them 2 years ago, then moved home a year ago and they could not provide me with service at the new place which is a new built area. Interestingly all the other providers are already in our street, they still can't do anything for us. To add insult to injury, they wanted to charge us a huge termination fee if we wanted to cancel the contract. As we couldn't afford that, we kept the contract running - with getting no service whatsoever, and a lovely price increase halfway through. Now I just rang them to cancel renewal, and was told - on a very crackly phone line where I had to ask them to repeat every sentence twice just to decipher what they said - that I still will need to pay the termination fee, unless I call on or after the last day of the contract.

Have left me feeling really pleased.

I have been a TalkTalk customer for over three years. I never faced any problem/ outage which is more than acceptable level. Even the customer support agents are quite approachable and helpful in addressing your problems. The products and services that I have used, and hopefully the one I will use, have left me feeling really pleased.

Great deal on 500

Yesterday I gave them 2 stars as I had a very long and difficult conversation with an overseas call centre. Today I had a much better experience and was offered a good deal which led to a new contract. Hopefully the nex 18 months will be great connection.

Very supportive Staff

Thank you Gary, for your patience, understanding my situation and your kind support! TalkTalk is lucky to have you!
I had a broken smart phone (linked to my TalkTalk account) so I could not check on it if I received an email from Gary about the service we had discussed (over a back-up phone which was a basic small Nokia so no internet access on that) and that step was necessary to go further in the process so Gary kindly phoned me up once I was in the local library - to check my emails - as agreed with him so we could finalise my broadband order. Great help, great man!

Close your account before you die.

Going around in circles trying to close my late fathers account with phone calls and emails - how hard should it be. Simple task but working to the 30day rule re notice.
Want the service cut off on the 10th but will not cut off to the 15th due to 30 day notice. Told happy to pay the 30 days but just want the line disconnect on 10th so the people moving in do not run up a bill. IS That too much to expect ? Is that too difficult? For TalkTalk YES it is. Gas supplier understands Electric supplies understands Water supplier understands insurance Supplier understands. But comunication company TalkTalk can't communicate or understand. Bad would turn in his grave.

Thank you Promise and all at talk talk

Another 2 year contract happily signed. Out of contract and shopped around and nothing beats what I've been offered! Had a lovely lady called promise rang me, I changed my mind last minute and went for the top speed broadband. She went above and beyond to help me, extremely professional and friendly. A loyal very happy customer. Thanks Promise and all the team at talk talk 😊

Overall bad service

I was with talk talk for over 5 years.
I was never happy. It was a bad service overall.
I dealt with and am still dealing with their customer services after not being with them for months just to return their equipment so they don't charge me £50! They continue to lie to me and avoid emails requesting the returns kit they say they have provided serval times.
They are awkward and their network isn't reliable. Much happier with another provider that refunds me when their service is down without me even contacting them. Stay away from talk talk

Have been with TalkTalk for many years…

Have been with TalkTalk for many years and never had any problems. When upgrading to broadband the process was very easy and all equipment and upgrades have been high quality. They have good email communication when changes and/or new options are imminent and the helpline workers are very knowledgeable.

Never go with TalkTalk Boardband

I was migrated to these incompetent fools who automatically increased my monthly cost 45% and the internet performance is terrible and then spent 64 minutes talking to fools who deliver the worst customer service. Do not use TalkTalk broadband, it’ll be your worst mistake

Unexpectable service.

I have been with Talktalk too long and have put up with bad service and poor connections, time for a change.
My Internet, during every evening drops about 5 to 6 times. I can't even be bother to call customer service it's that bad.

I canceled my TalkTalk contract over…

I canceled my TalkTalk contract over two weeks ago, and what an absolute hassle it’s been. It feels like you’re doing everything possible to avoid letting people cancel—there’s always some excuse about why you "can’t access accounts" or why it’s taking so long. Almost like you’re making it intentionally difficult to leave—what a mystery!

I was told I’d receive an empty package to return the router (because if I don’t, I’ll be hit with a £50 charge). Surprise, surprise—no package has arrived. My router is ready and waiting to be returned, TalkTalk. Consider this review proof that I’m trying to cooperate. I think I have about two weeks left to send it back, so maybe you should get moving on your end?
