Horrible experience

Most horrible experience. Been client for over 15years now. Lately need to do some work on my outdoor wall so the cable needs to be cut off until the work is finished. It has been 2months since i finished the renovations and the cable is still hanging loose outside!! They either sent the wrong technician or they never show up!! In the customer service center no one is aware, only juniors or students at work to reduce costs. Congrats in the massive drop in sales and revenue last quarters. Hope you go bankrupt!

AVOID AT ALL COSTS

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. both of their services base and telenet have been absolute scams. They have no service, take money at every turn and refuse to enagage. They assured that certain monies are deposits then keep them. I honestly cannot express how much you should avoid this company. I ended up taking out an orange sim card with additional internet to use instead of their WIFI because it was so horrendous. Customer service= zero. They also lie regularly.

Ridiculous

Ridiculous. Internet stopped working two weeks ago, I tried to call them several times, no answer. Same via the chat. I went to the shop, got a replacement modem, and now also the replacement modem doesn’t work anymore. And again no help via the customer service. They don’t understand some people really need internet to work, not like their service, that clearly doesn’t work!

They scam you left and right

They scam you left and right, charging you fees for equipment you have returned. Their support is useless, just answering "if you have a question let us know" after ignoring my questions for months! In the meanwhile the internet drops away all the time, their sim cards break after just 4 weeks, yet they charge you for a new one. In short, never get a contract here.

I was a victim of the new IT system…

I was a victim of the new IT system Telenet rolled out. I could no longer access my mail or 'mijn.telenet.be'
I notified customer services 27th of februari 2023. I repeatedly asked for an update, and I kept getting the answer "we'll text you, they're handling it"
After pushing, I was told on the 12th of May, more than 2 months later, that my complaint had been closed by 'an accidental system fault'.
15th of may, almost 3 months later, I still have no solution.
Let me tell you these are not the cheapest, if I wanted bad service, I'd go for cheaper providers.

Telenet: The customer is always wrong.

Telenet’s motto must be the customer is always wrong. I have continuously had unfair charges on my mobile account that I have tried to argue and during travel I have not had service for days. The customer service teams repeatedly tells me that their system is right and I am wrong.
I would not recommend Telenet to anyone. If they have a great offer, just remember that they will eventually charge you over and above and not provide a stable service so the offer is never worth it.

A company not recommended anymore

I really never communicate with such unprofessional company,what a very bad customer service team especially on WhatsApp and the one called Nicolaii,
When my father subscrib for telenet in rogier ,they upload a wrong email adress just to fill the file,my father don't have!!his an elderly.
I faced for 2 week an Internet issue ,every day we waited the technician to come as they told us from 8 till 6 ,we waited for 4 days !! Until he's come,
And now I subscribed for Netflix I sent him my email since I know that mu father don't have any email adress,after that he told me I sent the info to..,which is not available!!and he can't resend or forwarded again,so I have to pay for nothing and Internet for 2 passed weeks for nothing,not recommended anymore

3 weeks waiting for a connection after house move

I have been a loyal customer for 14 years, TV, Internet and phone. I moved house and the new modem has never connected. Telenet did not record the MAC address of the modem. They have now had it for 3 weeks, but still not connected. 3 weeks waiting for a simple connection

Poor service offered

Client service operators are incompetent and useless in providing solutions. It feels like I am dealing with 3rd world country service. Avoid this place and go for something that is valuable for your money.

Buying a lady of the night with an std is more worth it then spending it on Telenet

I pay almost 100 euro a month for the best and fastest internet that I can get and it still doesn't work ever. How is it that some third world countries have a more stable internet then telenet will ever provide. I HAD A GO LIVE FOR MY WORK TOMOROW... but oh no the internet is gone AGAIN. Do you guys refund me for the days that your stuff is down??? WHY SHOULD I PAY FOR A SERVICE I DONT EVEN RECEIVE???

Honestly the worst service I have ever…

Honestly the worst service I have ever received. It's been more than two weeks I am waiting for my sim card activation. And I'm going on a trip without an active simcard which I am paying for. They keep saying we don't know where the issue is. I still don't know how they're not bankrupt yet.

No internet for 2 months

I recently moved apartments and registered my move online as they request. To my surprise, nothing was actually updated and I did not have internet in my new apartment. I called many times and they still had my old address and 5 times someone new "updated" it. We went in person to a branch and they gave us a new modem. This did nothing. A technician came, installed a new modem and this did nothing. I keep calling and they just say I have to wait that a "ticket has been made". It has been 2 months and I still don't have internet and the old address still appears on my account. (The technicians keep being sent to my old address). What an absolute joke. I wanted to stay with Telenet due to its cheaper package for students but I am now switching to another provider.

If I could, I would give them 0 star review. Their customer service has been abysmal.
They can't rectify a simpel email issue that I should be able to do myself, if their website wasn't giving me constant error messages!
Each time I call there's someone new I have to explain everything to, instead of just looking at the existing problem case.
They've send me a message everything was resolved... spoiler alert: IT WAS NOT.
Now I'm starting this colonoscopy all over again!
I've been on the line so many times and for so long that I've reached the limits of my call minutes and can't call anyone anymore.
This absurd kafkaesque experience has been stressfull, specifically because we're trying to close the account of our grandmother who has past more than a month ago.
I can't, I wanna be done, they keep dragging this on and screwing us over.
Their is something wrong with their customer service and their unprofessional, 'your weird, but broken uncle' website.

HORRIBLE

This is supposedly “the best internet provider in Belgium” but their service is horrible. We pay for 150Mb/s internet and we get an average of 10Mb/s. When we called Telenet about this issue they sent someone who gave us one of their wifi range extenders. This makes our subscription more expensive and did not solve the problem. When we called them again, they sent a second guy who installed a second range extender. At this point you might think it’s a bit ridiculous, but wait. We called again as trying the same thing twice didn’t work and they sent a third guy over. He had the genius idea of installing a second router, with the same ssid. This means we have 2 routers and 2 range extenders, all within range of each other. This also means the average data speed is down to 3Mb/s as my phone is now constantly fighting between the 4 devices to connect to. On top of that our subscription has gotten ridiculously expensive because of all the useless hardware. STAY THE ***** AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!!

For the last couple of months , i follow nearly everyday , iphone 13 , 128 GB which is on promotion but it’s always out of stock :) They show what they don’t have in real 😠 This is not ethical marketing

At first

At first, they changed my bill email address without noticing me. They don't even tell me that I have that email address or post the bill. Therefore, I have to pay a 3-month extra fee after I contact them. Secondly, I want to terminate the service but after 2 months, I still receive the bill. I called the service, however, just waiting. Then I leave a message on the website, but they call me at a strange time. I missed it but when I called back, they said I have collected enough information. Ridiculous. However, they don't. And don't call me anymore. You have to submit your file again and wait the call 24 hours in two days.

Disgusting people and company

Disgusting people and company. They are thieves and frustrating to be dealing with. Never I have experienced such a bad customer service and service overall.
