It was easy to contact the sales team by phone especially as one of the packages was damaged in transit. They were brilliant and sent a replacement with overnight delivery which arrived on Christmas eve most impressive.
Things can go wrong but what matters is how companies deal with it. No complaints here a very customer focused company.

Really impressed with the customer service at Tufferman. I needed help with selecting the correct products to fit the space and they were really helpful with that. I then had to contact them again after ordering as part of the order got damaged in transit. They dealt with it quickly and sympathetically and most of the replacement bits arrived pretty much next working day. 1 element was missing so I had to contact them again and they were straight onto investigating my query - turns out the courier had it but failed to deliver with the first part. All in all excellent to deal with, and the shelving I bought from them is also excellent, easy to assemble, looks good and has transformed my garage!

Next day delivery (which I hadnt booked) was super efficient. Racking system was perfect for what I needed and reasonably priced. Instructions for assembly were helpful. All round this was a really positive experience from transaction to product.

Delivery was very good. However there were no instructions included in the package so we had to wing it- as we were trying to get the shelving up over a weekend so no one would have been on the phone to help. I think they could be emailed as a minimum. Also, a couple of the parts showed water damage, flaking paint and rust.

I ordered shelving systems for multiple duties. The VRS heavy duty system and the VRS lighter type. Both are fine for their respective tasks. Assembly is reasonably smooth although sometimes the tongues require some persuasion to engage with the slots. I have placed subsequent orders and would recommend. Service from Tufferman was good.

Good website, easy to view range of shelving on offer and ordering was a straight forward process.
Delivery was fast and goods arrived well-packaged and all components present and undamaged.
Shelving fairly easy to assemble once you get used to the way it goes.
However, the enclosed instructions were in a very small font and printed "black on grey" - a definite Printer's NO-NO! My eyesight isn't that bad but I had to scan and reprint & enlarge the instructions before I could clearly see what they said. Perhaps this is something that could do with a re-think?
Apart from that, the product is well worth the cost.

items were sent damaged but replaced. and i found the items a pain to insert the cross beams correctly that supported the shelves. i bought some work benches from a higher grade range which are much better.

Easy to order. I have purchased 2 units for my son in law for Christmas so I don’t know how good they are yet but ordering and delivery were easy and quick. I think I would prefer vat to be included in the price not added on and the delivery to our area was quite expensive but I guess they are vey heavy!

Shelves seem fine but delivery wasn't. Had a message through with the delivery day which wasn't convenient. There was no way to change it, message had said that the driver would leave a note to rearrange delivery but didn't, just dumped the shelves. Anybody could have taken them and they weren't even at our house.

Once the goods have been dispatched from ourselves we are unable to change this delivery date.
We do have a selected day service you could of chosen at checkout if there was a specific day you wanted the delivery for.

Very, Very happy,best if you have a helper to put up but i did this myself and just took my time. All my gear 4 amps 3 syths 2 monitors 1 mixing board and still room for more, happy days, solid as a rock and does not move about when playing, very nice finish on the beams. glad i did not go for a music stand rack, Well done Tufferman.

Racking is very sturdy though I did go for the 500kg shelf capacity. Ordered in the morning arrived next day. Simple to put together once you use a hand clamp on one end of the cross members, that’s if you attempt construction on your own.

The wooden shelving is rubbish quality, has all buckled and warped.
Very unhappy the company wouldnt replace them.

I understand the MDF boards were not treated before use in your garage.
As stated on our website, we do advise that the boards are treated with a high quality wood varnish or sealant.
These units are our best selling range and they are all tested beyond failure and are able to withstand the weight advertised.
