Formal complaints are not taken seriously, promises are not kept, it feels chaotic and like a complete anarchy within WES.

Confusing services.
I thought I ordered course by course and got doc by doc, and they sent all recipients already. It was around $200 only for the service. Be careful when you choose service not to make same mistake because they offer some service option with some title like basic or something and you may add useless other service and you should find what services are contained.
Also, be assure that courier like UPS and DHL do not deliver their P.O.box. I had to reorder the transcripts because carrier do not deliver to P.O. Box, to alternative address which I had to search and ask further.

They have not received the documents my university sent via email several time, so I eventually sent a hardcopy of my transcript. I contacted their representatives several times and only got a auto written email saying that the evaluation is in process. It is a week from my estimated completion date of course by course evaluation. I emailed them, wrote in their Facebook page, and received no clarity why it takes soooo long that expected. Because of WES, I had been moved to Round 3 although I applied on time for Round 2 in most of my applications. Now I have only 2 days until I miss my dream university deadline.

I have not seen that terrible service in my entire life!!! I have submitted my order in 17th December 2024. Tricky company
Confusing services.

Would strongly advise against using this company…
I would strongly advise anyone undergoing an Education Credential Assessment to go elsewhere. I’m stunned that the Canadian Government has them listed as one of four approved companies for this task. I submitted my application four months ago and I still don’t have an ERA report - despite my universities in the UK submitting my transcripts - which has delayed my visa applications. I’ve sent multiple messages through the ‘contact us’ form and had no reply. Today the advisor on the online chat told me the transcripts hadn’t been received. When I explained that my uni had confirmed with me that they had (and even sent me a copy of what had been submitted), they then kept sending me generic messages telling me there are delays in processing times and then redirecting me to the ‘contact us’ messaging function. When I told them I’d sent multiple messages through that function already, I got another generic message telling me there are delays! It’s a joke! It’s impossible to get any real customer support, you’re basically at their mercy. I specifically picked WES because they had a pre-existing relationship with my institution, which meant they could send my transcripts electronically and avoid delays, but it’s made no difference. Avoid at all costs!!!

WES conducted two evaluations using different grading scales and took a month to deliver them. I don’t understand how some universities in the U.S., being the most developed country in the world, accept this organization. Their lack of seriousness and professionalism is evident. I do not recommend getting evaluations from them, as they only make you waste time and money.

Poor Customer service, Website issue month long
Very poor service from WES, fixing website took more than a month to resolve. Not worth the money, wait time more then expected. All customer service can do is escalate the ticket and do nothing about the inquiry.

I am reaching out to seek clarification regarding an ongoing issue with my document submission. Two months ago, my university sent the required documentation, and I uploaded my own documents to your website as well. However, I received a notification several weeks later stating that both the certificate and its translation had not been received.
About a month ago, I contacted customer service, and they informed me that two of the documents had not been uploaded correctly due to a technical issue with Google Chrome. I then re-uploaded the documents, which changed the status to "Course-by-Course Evaluation."
However, today, after two months since I initiated the report, I received another email indicating the same problem. I would appreciate a clear explanation to help resolve this situation promptly.

Please don’t bother with WES
Please don’t bother with WES. I started my application in Decemeber and they randomly canceled my order in the beginning of February because of some kind of miscommunication with my type of evaluation. They didn’t even bother to contact me. They took a cancelation fee and felt entitled to it. AND THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS TERRIBLEEEE. The people on the phone are always redirecting you to the contact form on the website instead of trying to figure out the problem with you.
I promise you, you will be disappointed. I had to switch over the MYIEE and the process started and was completed within a week and a half. WES is unreliable and too slow.
Don’t bother.

Pathetic service
I had an extremely frustrating experience with World Education Services (WES). Initially, I faced delayed responses and issues with their processing, which led to my account being deactivated. After paying a fee to reactivate it, I sent my documents over a month ago. However, they initially claimed that they never received them. Despite my repeated attempts to resolve the issue through calls and emails, I received different answers from different representatives each time, making it impossible to get any clarity. Now, they are stating that the documents were not accepted, but they haven't provided a clear reason as to why, even though I submitted the documents exactly as specified. The customer service has been nothing short of pathetic—generic responses and no real help. It’s been a huge waste of time, money, and caused a significant amount of stress. As a result, I've missed out on job opportunities and potential future studies due to the delays and inefficiency. WES clearly needs to improve their communication and customer service, as nobody seems to know what they are doing. Please save yourself the time, money, and frustration—choose any other credential verification service besides WES.
EDIT: So I just got off a call from one of the customer service representatives who gave an idea about what could be wrong with the documents. All it took was 5 minutes of investigation into the matter, after countless calls and emails. All of this could have been resolved much sooner. Still not happy with the service but at least I have a starting point now. Lets see how things go on from here.

sometimes you make decisions that you regret
My application is stranded for 3 months now. WES advises to use NSDC for degree verification from Indian customers.Every time I contact them WES says they don't have the documents and NSDC says they have already sent it. Every agent from WES that i talked to has a different problem/reason/answer as a probable cause of delay. There is no accountability whatsoever. The only thing that WES is really proactive in is taking the money.

Terrible service
I am extremely disappointed with the service provided by this company. Their behavior during the cancellation of my order was completely unacceptable and, frankly, fraudulent. They received my payment but made no effort to fulfill the agreed conditions. Instead, they delayed the process, seemingly waiting for me to cancel my order. As a result, they refunded only a partial amount, effectively stealing $22 from me. This is nothing short of theft and fraud. I am deeply ashamed of their conduct and would caution others against doing business with them.

Terrible experience
Terrible experience. Absolutely unprofessional. It is taking more than a month to evaluate and I have already missed a few deadlines from the universities. I got another deadline from one of the universities on the 25th Feb 2025, if this one misses I'm definitely taking legal actions against this organization and claiming a full refund + compensation for the wait time. This is serious now.

Terrible experience
My experience with Wes has been very bad, my school never got the access codes to verify my result from the url attached to the verification email. I have called severally, contacted support through my dashboard and I keep getting the same response. I have missed my deadlines because of this delay and I cannot proceed with my application process because Wes cannot send a simple verification code to my Institution.

I missed my deadline due to how long…
I missed my deadline due to how long evaluations take, and how unclear they are. They do not accept documents sent from the university, and will not. My documents are in English and I do not understand how this service is still allowed to operate by SOPHAS etc. I was lied to over the phone by someone that said they had received my documents, and that was simply not true and someone over email said that was not true.

It took a couple of weeks to get my documents from my home country. They silently rejected my documents and did not tell me that they rejected them until I asked. They did not provide reasons. I am wondering how they used my $400.

It's been more than 9 months since…
It's been more than nine months since I requested a credentials evaluation which is crucial for my future study. I provided all of the required documents, physical and digital copies signed by my university. I've reached out to the customer service multiple times and even sent follow-up messages but they don't reply.
They never do. This is beyond unprofessional!! I wasted hundreds of dollars..i ordered 5 copies and all are paid USPS service charges is paid. But i didn’t receive any documents yet. WES is a big fraud company. Don’t use it for your career most important step. It’s wasting your time and money.
