Fiberglass internet - unprofessional installation and terrible customer service!
This is to share our experience of changing from Magenta (which is not implementing fiberglass in Vienna) to Fiberglass from Wien Energie : 2 guys came yesterday about noon, took the Magenta cables out (via Mediaverteiler) and installed fiberglass; they were done within 30 minutes… The new internet functioned for exactly 3 hours and then shut itself down. After repeatedly contacting their useless customer service we investigated and found out that the issue was with the fiberglass cable itself or the way they connected it to the router/mediaverteiler. The customer service „confirmed our finding… They promised that someone comes (within same day) to correct the mistakes they made during connecting everything… and we are still waiting for them to come and we do NOT have internet over the last 2 days! So, from this experience we conclude that the customer service and technical support are below any standard we encountered from other providers and we are strongly considering returning to Magenta
