Having ordered the gates on line I found the whole experience very easy. Worley Brothers emailed and text me keeping me informed exactly what was going on. I was given a delivery date and time which infact arrived 1/2 hour earlier than expected. The driver was very polite and helpful in getting goods in for me. The quality of the gates is well above my expectations. A good solid gate. Thank you all involved

Ordered a front gate for our cottage on line with posts and all fixtures and fittings. It was very easy to order, the site said three week delivery time and everything arrived exactly on the date stated. The delivery arrived 6.00am, the driver extremely helpful. Our gate is perfect, beautifully made and sturdy. Really pleased.

I am so pleased with our wooden gates - not only are they even nicer than I expected but I was helped throughout the ordering process by the very helpful team who noticed I had made an error with my measuring and flagged it for me. Can't fault the process of ordering via the website. Easy and clear instructions how to measure accurately and wide range of options on types of gate and many designs of each style. Options of hardwood, finishes, door furniture and all accessories. Gate posts also offered.
A wealth of information provided on the website and telephone help line if you should require further assistance.
Progress with construction of your gate(s) is provided by email and advance notice of delivery time which in my case was accurate. A dedicated driver employed by the company too.
I haven't had the gate fitted yet but am very pleased with the construction and the look. Seems to be very high quality. I did have a question post delivery which was answered swiftly, satisfactorily and very promptly.
Look forward to having the gate in situ but rain stopped play. Great company to deal with.

After a lot of research we decided to go for the Shrewsbury Bow Top Wooden gates with Wortley Brothers. This was for a few reasons:

1) Size, quality and type of design
2) Speed to manufacture and delivery (included in the price) 21 days vs up to 12 weeks with some other companies

The gates have been delivered and they look fantastic, very chunky, very heavy and with a great smooth finish.

Delivery was no fuss, arrived on the date we were told at purchase. Peter who arrived with the gates notified us in advance and turned up on time and didn't need much help getting the gates off the lorry.

These gates weren't the cheapest we looked at but they look brilliant in person. We added our own finish with a well known brand of wood paint and the grain really shows through.

Just be aware, the prices quoted on the website are BEFORE VAT. That should really be made clear. Other than that, excellent gates and we are very happy.
