The WestMED Expert Hub Morocco facilitates local and regional stakeholders by providing the WestMED Community with expertise on the Blue Economy, help project leaders find the right partners with their extensive network on both shores of the western Mediterranean, support project(idea) development, help draft tender applications and advise on the most applicable funding opportunities.
The Expert Hub (co)organises events to help lead discussions on different maritime topics and can be found at (online) Blue-Economy related meetings to share their expertise.

Hassan Agouzoul
Mr. Hassan Agouzoul, is a Senior expert in Sustainable Development, energy transition and climate finance. He is also Director of the SDG (Strategic Development Goals) Action Strategy Center of Morocco.
Mr. Hassan Agouzoul is Water and Environmental Engineer from the Mohammadia School of Engineers (EMI), with an ESSEC MBA in Finance & Management, a Specialized Master in “Renewable Energies and Energy Efficiency”, and a UNEP FI Master in financial analysis of climate, environmental and social risks for financial institutions International.
He has 25 years of experience in the private and public sector in national and international institutions (Social and Environmental Economic Council (CESE), ONA Holding, BMCE Bank, SUEZ Maroc, ST Microelectronics).
His preferred areas are renewable energy, climate transition and blue economy in Morocco and Africa countries, with a special focus on Net Zero economy, Circle economy, climate finance, and localization of SDGs.
