Author Grady Green is having the worst best day of his life. Grady calls his wife to share some exciting news as she is driving home. He hears Abby slam on the brakes, get out of the car, then nothing. When he eventually finds her car by the cliff edge the headlights are on, the driver door is open, her phone is still there. . . but his wife has disappeared. I really wanted to love this, but it just didn’t happen. Slow and then seemed to fall apart due to far too many (disconnected) things happening. Good narrators tho.

Meh. A bit too dragged out.

It was a decent storyline and the narration was done well. I found it dragged out far too long, and the receptiveness of the main character complaining about her shoulder in every chapter annoyed me to death.

This novel didn’t fully live up to its expectations. Seemed rushed and choppy at times, and there were some parts that didn’t really seem to fit in the story. Good performances tho.

Okay, so this novel is fairly decent, and there are plenty of twists to keep you engaged. However, the first portion, which was great and my favorite part, just didn’t mesh right with the second portion. There was something missing there, or just not developed enough in terms of ending/beginning. The very end of the novel felt too quick, yet drawn out at the same time. The narration was great, and I really enjoyed the variety of perspectives.

Really good twists included throughout.

This novel kept my attention, and I really like how it was plotted out. There were a few instances when a good twist would present itself, and these were incorporated well into the story. I would recommend.

Liked the plot and the twists, but made the connection quick before the reveal. Started off as a slow burn for me, but picked up more in the middle. Honestly, I think it was the narration that took away from the novel. The narrator isn’t that bad by any means, albeit too whiny-toned at times, but it just seemed like it wasn’t the right fit for the story. I think I may have enjoyed this one more if I read it instead.
